Thank you for making me smile, Baggs.
May I also comment on your dear daughter's positive frame of mind. It is true, we can only live one day at a time. My fond love to you all.
Chrissielou. Huge congratulations to your dear daughter. Her radiant smile must have made your heart dance with joy.

We have a friend in the village who has terminal cancer of the oesophagus and another awaiting a diagnosis. Also, a friend has secondary cancer and because her husband is poorly, has decided to delay further treatment until he can be properly cared for. It is a cruel illness. We must do our best to enjoy the moment. Again, One day at a time is most appropriate.
The pet portrait appears to be lost. On the day we posted it, our local post office was not operating as the computer was malfunctioning. We went into Tarbert and fitted in a few errands together with posting the gift to a friend. We have posted dozens of paintings and not one, other than this one, has failed to be delivered. We cannot find the receipt. We have been through all pockets and searched through clutter that we could have easily rid ourselves of. No joy! This is day 10. I put my address on the back of the parcel. Surely, if it had been wrongly delivered, some one would think to return it.
Hey ho! We have a new prime minister. Thank heaven it isn't blustering Boris.
A well-deserved group (*hug*).
