Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark and looks cold outside here in brackley this morning .
Today , I will have a breakfast with a difference no caffeine , due to my appointment at the Churchill in Oxford on the Exercise bike , the appointment should last an hour with bike lasting 10 minutes where they like a treadmill increase pressure as though going uphill, I looked at the video of what they and breathing apparatus also used .
Otherwise it will be a break from my routine , I also contacted my Doctor as to giving a update ,and he will ring me in over a weeks time to catch up on where I am as I did tell him as to what changes as to poo colour etc .
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning all from a wet Glasgow.

Mick, as Ashcombe has already said, iron tablets and infusions can cause discoloured stools, I'm surprised you weren't advised of this.
I hope your appointment isn't too taxing. Fortunately, I have managed to avoid the treadmill for years, due to it being unsuitable for me.
Grey, I hope you also get on well with your appointment.

I plan to do a small shop at Sainsbury's and that's it. I seem to have slowed right down at the moment. I have DH's waterproof trousers to alter, (he keeps tripping up.) so the sewing machine will need an airing.

My tablet isn't working, so I need my IT hat on. I fear like me, it's on it's last legs and needs replaced! ?

Happy anniversary to Mr & Mrs Shazza, have a lovely day.

Georgesgran and Baggs' daughters and their families have often been on my mind.

Wishing you all a pleasant say, whatever your plans.

Good morning all from dull Harrogate
Your DL is so lucky to have you GrandMattie but you must take care of yourself too.
Glad you’ve got your TV up and running Ashcombe
Yesterday took my hearing aid to York District hospital for repair, then had to walk through the city (no stopping for shopping) to catch the bus to Monk Cross, where despite finding the opening hours on line, John Lewis was closed down last year!! Great disappointment! Had lunch in Sainsburies and got the bus back to the station and back home. Today after Sainsburies delivery I’ll go to John Lewis Leeds!! They definitely are open!
Or at least Grandmadinasaur was there yesterday!!
Have the best day possible folks

Have a good day everyone and may you all find some ?.

Morning all.
After a run of gorgeous days, its the mists and mellow look outside but its getting darker and I think rain. Just as well my lovely young gardener came yesterday, she did a great job on cutting the hedge tight back and oh how lovely a weed free patio.

So many medical appointments today may I wish you all, all the very best with them, and if you have someone nice to go with, go for it! enjoy family outings.

Cleaner pops by here and I'm off to the gym for a good stretch-out.

granMarie take care, I hope its not for too long.

Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 9° and very wet and gloomy. Not a nice day outside. Happy anniversary to Mr and Mrs Shazza. I hope you have a lovely day. Grandmattie your lodger is very fortunate that she has you at the moment.
Yesterday's visit to mum was really nice. I stayed for well over an hour and we chatted about lots of things. Normally I visit my friend afterwards but I'd forgotten she was away for a few days at her caravan. I felt out of sorts the rest of the day and not exactly unwell but tired and grumpy.
Today I'm feeling more like myself. I have absolutely no plans so lots of pottering. An hour or two of Spanish is on the cards. Sausage casserole for dinner.

Good morning from rainy Colchester.
We had a lovely meal out last night at a local restaurant courtesy of a gift voucher. It was a tasting menu and all very MasterChef. I lost count of the courses but there were at least 3 desserts. I was stuffed.
Today we'll walk the 10 minutes to Boots for our flu jabs then home out of the rain.
I need to get DH to take the back off of my washer dryer as apparently the condenser needs cleaning. I've been told it's easy to DIY and will save paying a repair man.
Love to all ? x

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders.
It's just stopped raining.
I'm meeting a df in Edinburgh this morning so had better get a move on. One day to "myself" is allowed.
I took DMiL for her Jag and out to lunch yesterday in the rain.

Can't one of DL's friends sit with her while you are at Spanish GM?
You must keep your life going. It is called looking after yourself ?

Happy anniversary Shazza. Congratulations ?
Have a good day. That applies to everyone.

Good morning. I am running late this morning so have not read through the thread. I’ll come back later.
I’m off to a singing/dancing group with DGS3 this morning and my sewing group this afternoon.
Happy Birthdays, Anniversaries to all who celebrate today.
Hope all medical visits go well. Thoughts with all who have worries .

Pitt, I clean my condenser once a month. You will see the My last two dryers, had the condenser at the fromt and it was just a matter of pulling it out.
I was mortified at how dirty mine was! ?

GrannyGravy13 Thu 20-Oct-22 08:22:35

Happy Anniversary The Shazza’s ?❤️

Our condenser is inside the machine as it's a washer dryer. The man did it last time as it was under guarantee and it's a b****r to get at.

Good morning from a very wet and dull Black Country.

Thursday morning walk today, but I suspect it may be cancelled, as it is tipping it down at the moment.

Such a lovely day yesterday, we even ate our lunch sitting outside.

Our u3a is having a meeting this afternoon with a speaker talking about scam awareness, so I will try to make it.

grandMattie you certainly go above and beyond. What a wonderful friend you are, but please look after yourself too.

Happy anniversary Mr & Mrs Shazza have a lovely day,

Hoping all hospital appointments go well today.

harrigran Thu 20-Oct-22 08:32:55

Good morning from a rainy NE.
Today is the first anniversary of DH's death.
My sister and BIL are taking me out to lunch and then we are going to a shipbuilding exhibition.
DD sent me a message first thing, she is still recovering in Brussels but will travel to the UK in a week's time.
Take are all.

Vintagenonna Thu 20-Oct-22 08:34:57

Greetings from soggy Hampshire. On the plus side, the colours of the leaves on trees and shrubs are worth getting wet for.

ShazzaKanazza Thu 20-Oct-22 08:37:15

Thankyou for your lovely messages. I’m going to get ready to go to the hairdressers. DH did me avocado and poached egg on toast for breakfast.
I usually save my Good Morning thread to read as it’s a two hour appointment but I’m reading the fifth Bridgerton book. It’s a load of fluff and nonsense but an easy read X

ShazzaKanazza Thu 20-Oct-22 08:39:01

Hi Vintagenonna ?

monk08 Thu 20-Oct-22 08:42:44

Welcome Vintagenonna ?

Just enough time to say good morning from a dull & dampish Sefton.

Off out to Zumba.

Positive thoughts to all those with hospital appointments & those of you with troubles & worries.

brook2704 Thu 20-Oct-22 08:58:31

harrigran ❤️ for you today

Chrissielou Thu 20-Oct-22 09:03:12

I'm working at home today but have the afternoon off to make DD1's birthday cake for her celebration party on Saturday. Its a wet day here so the perfect afternoon to spend baking. I'm also doing 2 Christmas cakes at the weekend, I can just imagine the gas meter whirling around hmm I'm trying to use the air fryer as much as possible but it's not big enough for these bakes.
Have a good day and I hope you all find some sunshine.

Georgesgran Thu 20-Oct-22 09:05:43

Good morning from Durham. Thank you for your good wishes yesterday re DD2. I visited and she was only so-so, seems on continuous drips of painkillers and antibiotics, but foot and leg still massive and red. Her veins are very fine and have popped under pressure, so she’s covered in holes as they reinsert the cannulas. At least DGS2 is improving, but still taking his meds after his emergency visit to the same hospital on Sunday. See what today brings.

Friend’s birthday yesterday. She showed me her letter from her hospital appointment last week - it makes grim reading and she’ll have to tell her DH soon, even though he’s barely 5 days home from his own serious operation.

Coffee and offload to a friend this morning, then I’ll visit DD2 early afternoon and DD1 needs me to collect DGS1 from school.

gM indeed you are a Saint.
?*Harri - although my DH said he’d had a good life and did all he wanted, the ‘anniversaries’ are very difficult. His 72nd birthday looms.

I haven’t looked at GN properly, so I’ll just send best wishes to all.

Stilllearning Thu 20-Oct-22 09:07:15

Morning from a cloudier but still dry Connel. That’s funny Marydoll about your DiL’s sister, Scotland really is a village.
DD’s in laws live in the village of Connel while she and family live over the bridge in what DGS calls ‘ the independent state of North Connel’?!

Lovely day together yesterday, the children are really great company. With all the goings on in Westminster I introduced them to my interest in politics but was very careful to stick to noncommittal facts as DD and I have rather different views and I don’t want to ‘get into trouble’!

Sending kind thoughts to all and?to harrigran.

I hope you didn’t get too much off your glorious hair*baubles*!
???

Good morning Mick and everybody from rainy Carlisle.
Yesterday I had a wasted journey into town to post my Oz parcel. It was slightly too heavy to count as a small parcel so was going to cost megabucks to send even on the economy rates. The item itself is fractionally under the limit so any packaging is going to tip it over I suspect. It will have to wait until they or I travel over.
When I got home I decided I would wash the car prior to its service. More wasted effort. My troublesome digestion over the last day or two is worse and I have a temperature so I reluctantly cancelled the service, which would have entailed a longish drive there and back.
I'm going to have a quiet day, possibly pottering through some small jobs and definitely doing some sitting about reading.

Hello to you Vintagenonna, seems it's soggy far south as well as far north, of England that is.

Happy anniversary ShazzaKanazza and the best possible day to all.

BlueSapphire Thu 20-Oct-22 09:14:17

Sorry grandMattie meant DL, not DO!

Anniebach Thu 20-Oct-22 09:24:02

Good morning Auntyflo and all x
