Come the next General Election, who would you most rejoice to see losing their seat?

(Apart from Boris, that is, assuming you’re not a fan.)

Mine would be Jacob Rees-Mogg, no question.

Crossed posts Farzanah!

Jumped before the were pushed? Of course he'll have filled his coffers with Kwartengs bonus ...so he'll be fine .

Farzanah Tue 25-Oct-22 13:42:13

It’ll be interesting who does make it into the new cabinet. I wonder if Coffey will remain as Health Minister??

BJ of course, Rees Mogg and my Tory MP who voted fir BJ but kept quiet when I asked him ( in an email).

Ladyleftfieldlover Tue 25-Oct-22 17:07:11

Johnson, Mogg and those strange swivel-eyed, wig wearing exceedingly right wing back benchers and any remaining members of the ERG.

westendgirl Tue 25-Oct-22 17:07:32

Farzanah Tue 25-Oct-22 17:25:12

Rees-Mogg, Braverman, Patel, Fabricant and all the other right-wingers. Our local Tory MP.

I've just seen a copy of Rees-Mogg's handwritten resignation letter on Twitter. He didn't date it 25th October, he dated it "St Crispan's Day".

Excuse my language, but what a wanker.

Absolutely!

St Crispan - patron saint of cobblers.
Apt.

Callistemon21 Tue 25-Oct-22 20:14:52

St Crispin (just to be pedantic)

RichmondPark1 Tue 25-Oct-22 20:22:42

Is that you Jacob? grin

bluebird243 Tue 25-Oct-22 20:27:27

Truss, Kwarteng, Fabricant, Duncan Smith, Coffey, Penrose, [Mogg].

Anyone to do with SNP. We don't want independence here. Staying as one nation is the way to go.

And yet they keep winning elections.

Funny that.

Couldn’t have put it better myself

Nannagarra Wed 26-Oct-22 10:10:26

Oh, well, if we’re talking about wankers, I’ll second Ian Blackford.

Well if she had been what a good candidate for an NHS poster campaign and a lot of flack from labour.. "See how you will look if you ignore what we are telling you".

Aspen Wed 26-Oct-22 11:49:57

Chris Grayling, or more appropriately, Failing Grayling.

LadyHonoriaDedlock Wed 26-Oct-22 12:52:57

Ian Murray. Since I moved from Glasgow to Edinburgh I have with the ~only~ Labour MP in Scotland. As a supporter of Scottish independence I'd naturally wish to see him unseated; it's not personal gloating.

Not that I would love to see the smirk wiped off Boris's face at his Uxbridge declaration.

I agree with the sentiment of this – asking the PM to pass on his resignation to the king was, while technically correct in constitutional law, is wankery in the extreme.

But please, as one who still enjoys hand-writing personal letters with a fountain pen on proper writing paper, I ask you to dissociate me from any comparison with Rees-Mogg!

Done!

Iain Stewart, hardly ever replies to e mails, and is described on local social media as "the zombie postbox for the Conservative party." I really wish there were another political party we could vote for, who really care about the British people.
