Have just read that all Prime ministers have their own lecturn for those Downing Street speeches. How ridiculous.
Why can't there just be a standard one???? It's not as if the design will make the bad news (it's usually bad) any better. Just seen a picture of Liz Truss's twisted base lecturn. Mind you that does reflect the way she has had to turn her policies round. Maybe there is a point to them
