All no’s this time!!!! ?
(Number 1 - I just tell them I won’t be going ?)

MrsKen33 Thu 27-Oct-22 09:41:14

Yes to the first two
No to the rest

Sparklefizz Thu 27-Oct-22 09:47:46

Sort of yes to No. 2. We were 2 young married couples having supper together - the men were in the living room and my friend and I were draining the spaghetti. She wasn't looking at what she was doing and half of it slid into the sink towards the plughole instead of into the colander. We grabbed it back, poured boiling water over it and dished it up with the Bolognese sauce. We are all still alive 50 years later.

No 2 - well, he has had food that I’ve dropped, but he’s been aware of it.
So that’s a ‘no’ isn’t it?

Blossoming Thu 27-Oct-22 09:53:55

5 nos

Number 3 is an odd one!

Sago Thu 27-Oct-22 10:17:36

Blossoming I worked with someone who’s partner once said he would pay for her spa day with a friend , she had bought a voucher for £75 but told him it was£200 ?.

Being honest isn’t always a wise move. ?

Nannagarra Thu 27-Oct-22 10:23:49

The problem with no. 3 is a shared finances.

No to all, same as last ime.

Maggiemaybe Thu 27-Oct-22 10:32:51

Yes to 2, but he knows, and he’ll do it too. Yes to 4 as well, but not as an adult as far as I can remember. No to everything else.

Yammy Thu 27-Oct-22 10:34:14

4 out of 5 I must have been naughty in my youth. To be honest he did see me drop the food and told me to pick it up.
No.3 we have a joint account so isn't possible.blush

Witzend Thu 27-Oct-22 12:39:11

Only no.2, but I wouldn’t pretend I hadn’t done it, and would equally eat it myself, and dh wouldn’t care.

At some point I may have to fib about something I’ve lost through sheer carelessness, but it hasn’t arisen yet, and ?it never will.
