Fireworks

It's been a couple of years now since we've had fireworks at this intensity.

At least one of my cats is really stressed out. If they do that to the domestic animals what are they doing for the wildlife? And the livestock? And I am sure to suffer with asthma tomorrow.

Isn't it time we did as the Italians do, and insist on silent fireworks only?

Is it

It's all gone quiet now where I live.

It's quiet no here as well.
But you can bet that at midnight there will be another burst.

It is very noisy here despite the fact that the weather is horrid and it is very misty/foggy ,my cat who is elderly and deaf is sleeping on the back of my sofa totally unperturbed for once but 2 of my neighbours feed a lovely stray cat who hunkers down in the fields nearby and I hate to think of him being frightened by all the loud bangs.

It's been quite quiet round here but I suppose there aren't many people in our road who are likely to have fireworks. My cat never seems bothered at all, in fact tonight he was so energised by the fireworks that he went out in the rain and came back with a mouse that he devoured very noisily in the living room. Can't remember the Last time he caught one but he was very pleased with himself.

I noticed that Aldi were advertising boxes of quiet fireworks this year.
