For me it is a single electric blanket which I have put on my armchair which keeps me nice and warm. Only 5 p and hour to run and saves putting the gas fire on and have put the central heating down too! I also have a fluffy heated top throw from Lakeland. I do feel the cold so, my other half says the house is much too hot!

A Ninja air fryer. We haven't used the oven for two months and rarely the hob.

Same here. Hardly ever use the oven. Bake in it -all sorts.

Cinnamon bun from the local bakery. Total extravagance but so good!
I walked there and back so the calories won't count, will they?grin

I bought a new kitchen yesterday but I will have to wait until February to use it.

I haven't come across anything yet that can’t be cooked in the airfryer. You have to think of it as a powerful small oven.

Sallywally1 Sun 18-Dec-22 19:23:20

I’ve cooked two jacket potatoes in my air fryer, saves putting the oven on. You just put a little oil on the outside and rub some salt in. They take around 50 minutes, so no quicker, but are just as nice. Still experimenting g with mine. It’s quite a small one. Good for chips too.

A long, fleece, hooded robe. No zip. I wear it everyday and in this cold snap, I've been wearing it in bed, over my pjs, to sleep in. No more cold shoulders for me.

A flight to Vietnam for several weeks backpacking in February.

Enjoy.. Went a few years ago loved it.
But I'm in the Ninja Airfryer fan club. Got mine a few months ago, use it the same as my oven which is a range Fan oven similar rules apply but so much quicker.

I rarely buy stuff- but just bought a ane pair of Opticron binoculars- the last pair I bought was 16 years ago- they have travelled the world with me, and I use them every single day.

An oil filled radiator for our landing it's brilliant far better than the central heating.
A oversized brown coat (Dorothy Perkins) from Debenhams half the price it was. It's really good quality and warm too.

A Ted Baker gift set which I wrapped and gave to my practice nurse at our GP surgery. She was surprised and delighted to receive it at my appointment earlier this week. I wanted to do this as she has been so kind to me and very supportive and encouraging in my weight loss journey these last few months. It felt nice to show my appreciation.

Navy ankle boots, very sturdy, from Moshulu.

Auntieflo Sun 18-Dec-22 22:31:39

My uniscan tri walker. It has enabled me to walk much further when outside and feel safe.

Marydoll Sun 18-Dec-22 23:16:39

My Nina Airfryer, followed by my Ninja knives. They are brilliant, apart from the fact that I sliced my finger and I'm on thinners.
The air fryer replaced the cheap one I had. It has made my life so much easier, especially on the days, my health isn't so good.

Boots No 7 skin care set, reduced to £43. Worth £120. approx

Doodledog Sun 18-Dec-22 23:33:21

Those skincare sets are great value, nadaturbe,

I love my Duoblinds, as recommended by people on here. I got them to block out the sun in the summer in a targeted manner (which they haven't had time to do yet), but they have made a huge difference to the heat loss from the windows.

SachaMac Sun 18-Dec-22 23:39:03

Lovely soft fluffy throws from TK Max (constantly in use) also, a brand new with tags Boden dress from a charity shop for £7.

Wyllow3 Sun 18-Dec-22 23:44:43

Soft electric blanket that I actually sleep on
