A cheeky good morning from West Kent, I always read but rarely post. Unexpected trip to town this morning to find a Secret Santa gift for someone who’s taste I’ve no idea of and I’m not wasting money on something frivolous! Mobility issues mean I have to cadge a lift from a friend. I’d hoped to pick up a click and collect from Next at the same time, but it hasn’t arrived 🤨
Wyllow3 I love Inspector Gamache and felt quite bereft when I thought I’d come to the end of the series. There’ve been a couple more since. Amazon Prime has made a series but I don’t subscribe.
All good wishes to everyone.

Good morning everyone from a wet Northampton, but supposed to clear up by lunchtime; it feels quite mild.

Had a lovely health walk yesterday in the sunshine which was only enhanced by the spectacle of me tripping over a tree root and taking a tumble! Luckily the ground was so soft from previous rain that I only ended up with mucky jeans and knees; not a bruise or graze to be seen.
After the walk we all went back to our leader's house for coffee and a delicious Victoria sponge made by her grand-daughter.

My plans for today are to phone the travel company about my cancelled NZ holiday, and to marzipan the Christmas cake in readiness.for icing tomorrow.

cornergran your post made me feel a bit homesick, as Avebury is only a couple of miles from my childhood home; you will probably have driven through it on the A4 to get to Avebury. I can see the beautiful downland country now.....

Happy birthday 🎂 blue, hope it's a good one!

Take care all those travelling today, and wishing all a pleasant Wednesday.

Good morning! There's a tornado here today blowing me in all directions - I've never ever been so disorganised, and I'm off down south tomorrow. I haven't been able to read posts - but glad all is going well Ash and your journey to Bristol went well grandmattie. Enjoy your meet-up with your family Mick.
Have a great day everyone who can - enjoy your Cambridge GCs Brook.

Good morning Mick and everyone. It’s sunshine and showers in this corner of Lancashire, currently 6°C.

Hope everyone finds a little comfort and cheer today. Thinking of Hellogirl on this most difficult of days.

Good morning from very rainy east Ren. What a beautiful picture Gingster, no wonder you love to spend lots of time there.
I’m still recovering from my 6 hours stuck on the train from Oban, landslide at Loch Awe behind us and flooding at Arrochar in front of us. Complete with the toilet being frozen.

For reasons too boring to explain, my car is 30 miles away, at home, so today’s journey will be by public transport, stopping halfway to join my exercise class buddies for our Christmas lunch. I’ll come back in here tomorrow by car to get my luggage, deliver and collect Christmas presents etc.

Happy birthday Balou and love to everyone who needs it, have a good day everyone 🦩🦩🦩

Good morning Michael a send all GNs. Wyllow has given you our South Yorkshire weather. Not a bad start considering we were supposed to have a wet week. I’m very late today as, after a rather over energetic day with GS yesterday (loved it!), I slept in this morning and got up to find the boiler hadn’t come on so the house was nithering! DS also slept in! Much fiddling about was required to get the radiators going. It bodes ill. I think a call to the plumber is required - again. This is a new boiler.
Ash good to hear you got an all clear!
Mary so sorry you are under the weather. Hope it doesn’t last.💐
Have the best day you can folks. Christmas is a-comin’!

Good morning Mick and all from a brightening Lancashire coast.
Our final Xmas get together at the music club went well with a nice spread, I took quiche and sang Panis Angelicus and another Christmassy song, our piper played and then there was the clearing up to do.
My DD arrives tomorrow and I’m dreadfully behind with arrangements, I just don’t have the energy. I know she will help me, but still…
Congratulations dragonfly BlueBalou and hope you feel better Auntieflo

Good morning all from a very bright sunny Stockport.
Second full day of my D and GD’s visit.
We had a few hours out shopping and lunch yesterday.
I was shattered and couldn’t sleep well consequently we are taking it easy today, maybe a garden centre later with coffee and cake.
I think we came recognise you BlueSapphire by the knees, very fetching.
Have the best day you can everyone.

Morning all from a wet Co Armagh, better than snow though , I can walk round the garden ,
Inspected the greenhouse, the coriander and strawberry plants survived , but the geraniums look poorly ,
Took most of yesterday to do mince pies , but so worth it !
Prayers for our poorly people and friends xxx

Happy anniversary to the Dragonfliesflowers wine

it didn't want me to send you wine but I hope you raise a glass or two

Gingster Wed 21-Dec-22 12:41:19

GG I’m sure we’ve been there stopping off for lunch on our way to the Norfolk broads . It’s very very nice! 😉

Urms I’ve just read our monthly Suffolk magazine and there’s a big article about MATT. It seems he lives in Suffolk and has a ginormous house.
