Helibores' (I have four)

I'm in the South East and my Helibore's have been flowering since before Christmas. Lovely, cheering plants at the dark time of the year aren't they.

Kate, can you tell me how to stop my peace lily taking over the dining room table please..I am hopeless with plants really, better in the garden, but this weedy plant I bought discount, keeps growing It looks healthy but I don’t know where to put it.I don’t want to keep repotting as it quickly needs another pot.

Ours used to flower but for the past year or so they both seem more intent on reproducing little plantlets around the edges.
I suppose I should repot them all.

One is in the utility room window, the other on the landing window, both largely ignored apart from watering.

I’ve got one of those lilies and some creature has gnawed half the leaves off. It doesn’t flower anymore, either. I have a lot of orchids, on the other hand, and none of the creatures eat those,they do very well. They thrive on total neglect - my kind of plant.

I’m enjoying a very lazy day - one of the few for a while - since a guest is arriving from Sweden on Weds and I’ll need to blitz the house first, - plus dd and 3 Gdcs will also be staying on Saturday night, in order to leave SiL in peace to get a major job done at home.

Yesterday I finally finished my 4th (I think) Big Fat Ted plus little hand puppet friend, ready to post off to Knit for Nowt. Also have a massive bag of outgrown clothes from dd, to post to her cousin. It’s going to need 2 parcels, so that’ll be 3 big ones - I shall use Click and Drop and pay a bit extra for the postman to collect them. Well worth 60p a pop!

Allsorts I'm afraid I can't advise re the peace lily. I have no idea about plants. That my lily has lasted so long is miraculous. I water it every now and then. It has been repotted once about 10 years ago. It probably needs repotting again but I'm scared of killing it.

It reminds me of the snow I had falling on our school website at Christmas, whenever someone accessed it.
Unfortunately it was June, before I remembered how to uninstall that functionality!
