But you only steal things that slightly inconvenience people.

What are you taking?

I'd take:

The glass plate in the microwave

The knob off the oven.

The bathroom light bulb

Remotes
Keys
Phone chargers
Can openers
Knives
Scissors
Instruction books
Glasses
Handy pens and paper pads
Belts
The other glove
The other sock
One shoe from a pair ...
My New Year resolution : be more tidy and organised !

The fuses from all the plugs.
The mobile phone batteries.
Flick off the switches on the fuse box.
All the hairbrushes and combs.
The printer ink.
The bread, milk, coffee and tea bags
One shoe from each pair making sure that some are left and some are right so that they can go for more shoes but have to wear odd ones.

My old cat used to steal the neighbours underwear. Only ladies bras and pants, plus food. He came over the fence with a raw beef joint one day and a whole cooked chicken another.
Worst thing he ever brought home was an enormous fluorescent pink crotch-less thong!

Toilet rolls and light bulbs smile

Hetty58 Tue 10-Jan-23 13:02:01

(I really did that once, and he deserved it)

Hetty58 Tue 10-Jan-23 13:01:02

I'd take the fuses from the plugs, some curtain hooks - loo rolls, one sock from each pair - and the lids from every bottle in the fridge!

It would have been a breach of the contract unless stipulated that the unit was going to be removed, and in that case it should have been 'made safe' so not to flood the kitchen.

If I found a copy of 'The Spare' I'd leave it behind.

Matelda- Waste disposal units can be quite expensive so probably not such a daft idea- probably re-fitted it in his new home- Not as sure about letterbox you get them quite cheaply.😁

Nannan2 Tue 10-Jan-23 12:44:36

AGAA4 Tue 10-Jan-23 12:04:14

In my son's neighbourhood there was a cat who was a burglar. The owner had a notice on their gate to apply here if you are missing anything as our cat is a master burglar. They had a collection of bras, knickers, socks and other items that the cat took a fancy to.

eilash Tue 10-Jan-23 12:01:39

I would just swap all the kitchen drawers around

Amandajs66 Tue 10-Jan-23 11:58:21

The base of the kettle.

Mishy Tue 10-Jan-23 11:52:33

I had a rental property and someone did this: egg poacher cups from the poaching pan, grill from the grill pan, glass plate from the microwave, glass dish from the soap dish in the shower room along with the loo brush container, remote control, a couple of pan lid knobs, kept their deposit until all items were returned.
