Good morning from a dark, gloomy E Kent.

Burns is loved and sung and recited globally Holly. Enjoy singing his much loved songs. I used to teach his poetry at Higher English as well as perform Tam O'Shanter at Burns' suppers. He was a very observant social commentator as well as romantic.

Re changing walls in Tai chi: yes, our class does this.
Re two rows facing each other….shhhhh Taichinan! I hope my teacher isn’t reading GM as I’d find that absolutely impossible!
🤔 🤫 🤣
Happy Burns Night.

Good morning from Glasgow, we had rain overnight but signs of blue sky breaking through and so far, it’s dry.

DH is playing it cool at the thought of collecting his new car today but knowing him so well, he is inwardly an excited little boy. I will drop him off at the dealership later and expect to see him when I see him.
I realised this morning, the script I went to collect yesterday is still at the pharmacy ! Too much blethering with staff I have known for years. Good idea to collect your script from your GP rather than the useless lot at your pharmacy. Hoping your new meds work well.
No Burns Supper for us this year but we will enjoy our haggis, neeps and tatties where e’r we be. Slices of grilled haggis in a sandwich is a favourite of ours too.
Our DDs know the Selkirk Grace well Maw, one I recited whenever plates were not emptied! Drove them mad.😄

Hopefully, a good day is ahead for all.

Good morning everyone. I’m late this morning as I had an appointment earlier. It’s a misty damp day, lots of drizzly rain, warmer at 8°C. Haven’t read the thread yet, hope all is well.

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders.
I'm on a nice fast bus to Edinburgh just now infact.
I was so sorry to hear that the Landmark Victorian department store Jenners suffered a serious fire this week. The wood panelling will have burned quickly.
Firefighters were injured.
Your pussy cat looks very pretty Ash
Safe trip home other home Urms
I hope the new meds help Marydoll

Happy Burn's Night to everyone.

Just a quick late post as using free Wi-Fi at swimming pool. Internet going to be off for 2 weeks and no data left so will be missing from here for a while! Will really miss Gransnet and all of you!
