I was going to post this on the Gloomy thread but thought I'd start a new photograph thread so we can see how the year develops in pictures.
This was taken yesterday from Hungerford Bridge - it's not a great photo but shows St Paul's shining in the drizzly cold gloomy early evening.
After the rain and storms in Athens, this was from our balcony one evening last week in Nafplion, in the Pelopponese. So few like this to be seen there - ultra-modern super-yachts (almost) ten a penny though.
This is a portion of an old totem no longer standing, in historical’Ksan village near Hazelton, BC.
On a walk yesterday thought it was true at first 😊
Photographically not a very good picture but the crowds jostling around the Brandenburg gate made it difficult to take good pictures (while holding on to handbag etc to avoid pickpockets).
Actually it was all quite chummy and cheerful because it was a warm day.
Also the view from our hotel window here in Berlin.
I've lived here for 20 years and have never seen this little lion until today. He's obviously been here for quite a while.
