Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark but hopefully not so chilly and getting milder here in brackley .
Today, apart from household chores ,I plan to go to Bicester on the bus ,taking advantage of the £2 fare on offer .
Then returning home for lunch and cycling on TV.
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning from a bright, dry and windy Co Durham.
Not posted for a while. I read your posts everyday but by the time I come to reply the morning has gone.
DH has has d a cough and cold for over a week and has just retired to bed again so I’ll have to stay quiet so no housework 😂.
I’ve started investigating train fares to Scotland for my DSIL and me. We normally go three times a year but haven’t been since Feb 2020. We love Perth and Dundee. Hopefully we’ll be going in February or April.
Hugs to those in need and welcome to Fancythat.

Good morning from Glasgow, sunny but chilly is still more welcome than grey and dreich.

Very sad news Susan💐
Welcome back fancythat from down south. 👋

I noticed our resident fox sound asleep under his favourite hedge in the garden, took him his cat food treat, he scoffed the lot and went back to sleep. That was enough outside time on a very chilly day for me.🥶

A day of this and that ahead.

Hoping a good day is ahead for all.

Susan such sad news from you. 40 is far too young to go.
Still learning I was too smug! I dropped my car key card at the front door. It promptly vanished under the summer house I think and it's taken me over an hour to remember where I put the spare key. My blood pressure has soared and I'm only now able to calm down. Dgs2 is down for a nap while I have a cuppa.

Good morning from Sunnyside northwest coast with the washing out in the garden.
Bad night with toothache, reflux and general up and downness.
Toothache calmed down but could be the start of something.
Wish I felt chirpier for such a nice day.
Thoughts to Susan and will read through later.

A parcel has arrived from Fortnum and Mason, champagne and chocs, but not for me!
I have figured out the mistake.

Good morning from sunny West Sussex.
We had a lovely lunch with DD3 and family yesterday. GDs were both very bouncy so we took them out on their bikes through a local green space and gave them some time on the playground equipment in the park. I was looking for signs of spring but they were few - some hazel catkins and fresh new nettles. I had to run to catch up with the cyclists who were ready to cross at the complicated set of lights on the dual carriageway between green space and home. I’d vote for a car- free Sunday (even though we drove there 😕. I nearly fell asleep on the sofa when we got home but had to wake up for Happy Valley.

Today I have Tai Chi - a very small group of beginners which I am really enjoying. I must join the declutterers - I decluttered DHs desk during lockdown so I too have a box with excess paper clips, safety pins and who knows what else. I must see if a charity shop wants them or I might offer them on Olio.

The Celtic Connections Youth Concert sounds wonderful, Stilllearning. I would love to go to some of the concerts - I looked at the programme but going north would have clashed with commitments down here so I will hope for some recorded sessions on Radio 3.

Susan, I join others on here in sorrow for the death of your young friend.

Hello everyone, chilly morning here near Stansted Airport, planes taking off in different direction so no noise!
I think that Mick’s travels to Bicester sound interesting so will have to venture there soon !

Hello everyone. I had a good appointment with the Dermatologist. It seems I don’t have anything sinister and it’s simply a blocked pore! She looked at a couple of other strange bumps and lumps and they are fine too. To celebrate we had lunch out. Dinner will be leftover lasagne made by younger son or Special K. Have a good evening.

Good afternoon everyone, rather belated today 🙄😊
We had a lovely Sunday lunch with old friends yesterday, lots of catching up to do.
GP follow up appointment this morning, it seems that my heart failure is ramping up so urgent referrals being made for further diagnostics.
I was given a 3 year prognosis 4.5 years ago so not doing too badly.
Onwards and upwards!
