Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark but dry out there in brackley hopefully mild as well .
I never ventured far yesterday doing bits and bobs in my flat plus watching cycling and was awaiting a phone call from the hospital in banbury as a pre op assessment over the phone, which never happened.
My main worry next week if my surgery goes ahead is the strikes which are taking place .
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning all, in haste, from a calm, mild Angus coast. Light cloud today, but a lot of it - although blue skies are putting up a good fight for supremacy.
Lots of busyness and minor ailments amongst you. Grandmattie your tai chi class will be such an oasis of calm in your busy day - do relax into it and enjoy it.
What a glorious sky baubles. By the looks of it you're not a hundred miles from where my DS1 moved to last year. I fell in love with the area when I visited last year - lucky lady.
Safe travels back to France for olddudders, Ash. Hope it's not too long before your next 'honeymoon'.
Hope the air-clearing is not too difficult Urms. You're so wise to do it.
In a rush this am as I'm off out to lunch again - always the famine/feast scenario for me! It was only when I was out with friends yesterday that I remembered today's 'date' - thank goodness.
So I shall love you all and leave you. Have a lovely day!

Morning all

I can confirm it’s grey in Essex …

Not sure what I am up to today, other than getting organised for a very busy time next week.

Myself and my two half siblings have decided on an unattended cremation for our step-mother, it would have only been us and our husbands/partner there, she was a troubled soul the last year and had alienated her friends and neighbours. We will have a family get to together when her ashes are scattered at the same place as Dad’s.

We have the 8yr old for his weekly sleepover tonight I think it will involve pancakes 🥞

I will now make a coffee and read all your posts.

Have a good Tuesday folks 🙋‍♀️🦩

Good morning Mick, Annie and all. I have been reading the posts, but not daily. Don't know why, just life overtakes you!

Yesterday the stairlift engineer was due here to give it a service. No time given, just anytime between 9-5 pm. At noon, he phoned to say he couldn't' make it, sigh... Meanwhile I did 3 wash loads and got it dry. Then felt exhausted for the rest of the day.
Last Sat DD and SIL came for coffee and stayed for lunch. It was so good to see her after her broken shoulder mishap, and she is feeling a bit better.
We are going out for coffee later and must do some shopping, as the cupboards are almost bare.
My wrist is not so sore, but flares occasionally, but I can still knit 🤗
Lovely pictures this morning, wish I could cuddle the dachsies.

Here's hoping all goes well for Mick next week. My chemo session is at the beginning of March, and it makes you worried.
GrandMattie. So glad that you have found a new home and I have my fingers crossed that all goes smoothly in the legal dept.
Have a good day one and all.

Good morning everyone from a cloudy Lancashire. No rain, which is good as we have workmen here for the second day running. We are widening our somewhat narrow driveway by paving over part of the front garden. It will make life easier. I hope your appointments go well Marydoll.

Good morning from Glasgow where it is dry and brightening up, thankfully the strong winds have abated.

A Waitrose trip today and then to return a pair of boots I ordered from M&S.

Such a beautiful view Baubles, enjoy your well deserved break.
Good luck with your kitchen planning kitty. Whenever we have quotes, DH always suggests the salesman sharpens his pencil before we agree on a price.

Best wishes to all for a good day.

Good morning Mick and all from a dull northwest coast.
I’m overly tired and will go along to the music club, help with setting up and clearing away, but won’t sing. My sister’s visit has meant I haven’t sung or practised. Now I’m a widow on my own, I think I find four days hostessing rather tiring, which is rather pathetic…Sadly two of the three committee members for the club (one being me) have fallen out, resulting in a flurry of insulting emails between them, leaving me trying to be sensible in the middle. All very childish.
A guitar has arrived in the post for my DS 25 miles away. I take in a lot of the DCs post as I have an open porch which is very useful.
Frustrating for you Mick and hope you are soon over your cold grandMattie

Good afternoon from a breezy Co Armagh, but not as breezy as Edinburgh last week !
The wedding was lovely, lovely Registrars rooms on the Royal Mile , lovely Lady did the necessary, then Reception was very informal
But I had forgotten my Simmit and was foundered !
Gents in kilts gave a very Scottish flavour to the proceedings , and I envied them the thick woolly socks!
Home yesterday , one wash done another whirling away
Back to butts as my Dad used to say 😊
