Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark and wet outside here in brackley this morning.
Yesterday , I returned via Buckingham on the buses from Bicester because with it being Pancake Day did the cafe I used to go into allot ,as they do them but price and amount of pancakes reduced in quantity from 3 to 2 .
Today , I have my pre op assessment at the Horton Hospital in Banbury early afternoon , readying me for next Monday with the pre tests of which will see whether they admit next week.
It messes my meal routine about as well .
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning from a cool and drizzly Co Durham.
Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Baubles. Hope all goes well today, Mick.
Marydoll, you are amazing, so stoical. Vertigo is dreadful.
Expecting a visit from my dd2’s mobile hairdresser this afternoon. My own hairdresser doesn’t work on Wednesdays so dd organised hers to come to make me presentable for our trip to Scotland tomorrow.
Have as good a day as possible everyone.

Good night everyone. It’s sunny in this corner of Lancashire right now, quite a bit of cloud about. A chilly breeze and outside temperature 7°C.

The driveway is all done, it’s now much easier for me to move between the car and the house. I will be going for a walk later.

Hope all goes well with your pre op Mick. I haven’t read the full thread yet, I’ve been doing laundry. Will catch up now while I drink my tea.

Happy anniversary, Baubles

I always like to read through to see the variety of what we all get up to. Definitely made me aware I need to book my gardener in for next month (I've a huge garden and not enough energy CFS wise) but its nice to think of which bedding flowers to brighten up the garden.

I was up till 3am with whatsapp's from my troubled abusive Ex..so today a bit of a wash out: need to shop to get basics in tho.

Best for poorlies, hospital and GP appointments, and enjoy days. It's good to read Urms that you and friend have resolved the difficulties.

Wyllow if you have a landline for your family to ring, during the night I’d power your mobile down. Why give your ex access during the night? He might have been on the pop - and even if not - it’s draining for you not to get your sleep. If you don’t have a land line, turn the sound off fir WA’s so no pinging noises. The people who love you best and have your interests at heart will know you will be asleep!

Good advice Urmstongran 👍

Grandmabatty Wed 22-Feb-23 12:56:56

Wyllow block him on WhatsApp. You need never hear from him again

Urmstongran Wed 22-Feb-23 13:09:43

Ha! you can tell I don’t have a smartphone batty I didn’t know you could do that!
😊

Aw, thank you for caring.

I'm close to that Grandmabatty except it could bring about a malicious reaction.
Unfortunately its severe MH problems as well as abuse and one doest stop totally having concerns.

I'm a safeguarded adult against him, but not police protection like his mum has. So I try to keep a very low contact/practical issues when essential approach which usually works.

At night I have my mobile off, but do have my computer on (enjoying music or Sounds catch like a lot of us do if sleep in short supply!) but I will definitely look into turning off WhatsApp sound alerts on computer.

If you don't want to block him, you can mute him and deal with messages when you feel able. His mental health is not your responsibility to fix. 💐
