I am full of the joys today- my eldest granddaughter has just given birth to our great grandson. She is a nurse and so deserves this happiness. Her husband ,my grandson in law, is over the moon and so is her eldest son who is 11 years old so feeling very 'protective'.

I thought it would be nice for us to celebrate birthdays, nice family events or achievments here on gransnet.

Thanks everyone for congrats. He is struggling a bit so has to stay in hospital but hopefully will improve soon. My granddaughter has to be discharged so she will be visiting him all the time. He looks so beautiful with a lovely face and very blonde- but I am totally biased of course. Happy Birthday Bluebelle- I love your name ,by the way and every year I look forward to those bluebells I have planted in my front garden.
