Today is International Women’s Day…..are you having a day off?

Brilliant in 2023 Women are still being celebrated 🥳

No doubt in years to come women will be banned in a dystopian world, which Margaret Atwood would recognise.

It's snowing hard here so not exactly having a day off,but certainly not going anywhere other than a quick dog walk and making some leek and potato soup. Apart from that, afternoon telly and a snooze.

Me too. I have heard that screening centres are sending invitations out to men who have identified as women to come for cervical screening.

Celebrate because it may not exist next year. I am listening to Politics Today and they are discussing how the NHS is encouraging gender neutral language. The words woman motherare being replaced by person.

My partner just reminded me that it's International Women's Day and asked me what I'd like him to do around the house today - bless - he's mostly disabled but can toddle around a bit!

I knew anyway - having been on a couple of social media sites and seen the comments from some of the hard-done by males who seem really upset about it and are making the predictable "whatabout the menz" comments.
