When the parents are liar and narcissists the public is not going to just accept what is said as true. How to lose support for the monarchy- carry on as they are.
... so what intimate details do you want to be released to the public other than the usual birth certificates?
The only proof that Harry is the father would be DNA testing - do you seriously think the royal family are going to agree to this?
And why is there a question mark over this anyway? Regardless of what one thinks of them, they appear to be a relatively young and healthy couple. Why should the children not have been conceived normally and been born naturally from "Ms Markle's own body".
They might be an unpleasant couple - but that doesn't mean their bodies don't function normally.
I think you might find there's a limit to what the public can demand.
It is rumoured that Harry's wife had a hysterectomy at age 28. Also rumored is another child , now grown up, from a previous relationship. I don't know either of these claims are true, but it has been rumoured. If the first rumour is true then these children could still be theirs but born of a surrogate, hence the mystery when Archie was born.
it was wrong 'imo' to use the queen's pet name of lilibet for their baby girl, didn't they think that Anne would have used it for Zara or Zara for her daughter if it had been appropriate
.They said they asked the queen, should not even have put it to her! Elizabeth yes!
I’m no fan of Meghan’s, but feel sure Archie and Lili came out of her tummy!
We never saw pictures of Lili when new born, but the first pictures of Archie, with H&M, showed Meg chubby cheeked and quite a bump still. Even on their African tour, a few months later, she still had a definite tummy.
She didn’t regain her original slim look for quite a while.
What if they are surrogates? Does it matter? Plenty of rich personalities have gone down that route. James Taylor and his wife have surrogate twins. I'm sure they are much loved children.
Stop trying to use anything to denigrate a couple who really haven't done anything to any of you.
They have two children they are raising in a protected environment. I dread to think how many times the press would have pursued them in this country.
I'm pretty sure Meghan gave birth herself.

That couldn't be further from the truth. Those children are not going to be toddlers forever. Imagine what the children will find out when they do a spot of googling.
Daddy's losing his virginity. His frozen wotsit. How Uncle Willy pushed him into a dog bowl and broke his necklace. How Grandpa lied. How Granny Camilla was the devil incarnate. How Mum's Dad was evil so they've never met him. South Park doing skits. Endless commentary on social media. Much of it negative. And so on and so forth. Far too much information has been given.
Hardly a protected environment. Sounds pretty toxic to me.

I aways wondered why/how the late monarch had acquired a West Indian nickname : "little bit" or 'li'l bit'.
It suited her so why not pass it on?
It's because she couldn't pronounce Elizabeth when she first started speaking and used to call herself Lilibet when she was a toddler.
It's not West Indian, it's Welsh or Hebrew in origin and means God's Promise.
The level of batsh!t crazy over this couple is at an all time high.
Questioning whether or not another woman gave birth? If I ever get to this point in life I hope to be put out of my misery. Being this bothered by people who don’t care whether or not I exist would be the lowest point I’ve reached in life. As if these privileged celebs are sitting around worrying about providing DNA proof of their connection to their offspring to randoms on the internet. How utterly pathetic it must be to question the paternity of these children just because you can’t let go of your obsessive hatred. Nasty nasty nasty. What else is almost as bad, the fake “feeling sorry” for children who have probably lived better lives in the whopping 3-4 years they’ve been alive than those with their fake sympathy (actually jealousy). Those kids will be more than fine. I’m sure Harry and Meghan are better parents to their children than the folks who hate them and simultaneously have little to no relationship with their own adult offspring now. I’d worry more about my own familial relationships.
Well it appears they don’t know there is no Anglican or Episcopal “Archbishop of Los Angeles” or indeed how he is addressed.
He is the Bishop and styled the Right Rev - not the Rev
Bishop Taylor is a former newspaper reporter, director of the Nixon library, and chief of staff to former President Richard Nixon.
There IS a. Catholic Archbishop but that would rule them right out of the line of succession!
Most Reverend José H. Gomez is the Archbishop of Los Angeles, the nation's largest Catholic community. He also serves as President of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops
Lord above, haven't heard anything about the surrogacy rumours, so assume they are just that rumours.
I'm agreeing about the name with others though. Princess Liillibet, it sounds awfully twee, particularly in a land that would like to promote the whole Disney Princess thing to youngsters, I imagine that moniker is going to feed into the blurred lines of make believe.
The thing about pet "family" names, and I imagine many families have or had them, we certainly did, they grow up around the child, they're a form of endearment sometimes a version of the child's actual name as in "Lillibet" but really whilst they might stick into later years, they're kind of private, often a bit daft and not a moniker anyone would want to stick on a child as their actual name. I think they, Harry and Meghan, over stepped the mark there, I'm not sure they got permission to use Lillibet, I rather thought the late Queen may have assumed they were asking to use Elizabeth. Now the Princess is official, this little girl is saddled with this very Disneyesque label, but the British historical context could well be lost on the wider American society who don't know and may not be interested in our history of kings and queens Something I found out years ago when I was married to a foreign national whilst dragging him around Hever Castle one afternoon and said something along the lines of "you seem bored" to which he replied "English royal families don't interest me" Fair enough that told me!

Apologies, Jaberwok I see you explained the name Lilibet in an earlier post.

Ah! Rumour, speculation and gossip - how would the media survive without it!
Not to mention all those "sources close to the family", oh - and 'body-language experts'.
There really is enough material to condemn this couple without trying to invalidate the conception and birth of their two children.
Arguing about titles is one thing - it involves the machinations of the adults, but the prurient probing into the circumstances of the children's conception and birth is low.
The fact that anyone is actually leaning into these internet rumours makes those individuals typical internet conspiracy theorists. Time for some folks to go outside, take off the tin foil hats, get some fresh air, and interact with people in person. This is getting lower than low.
Now the Princess is official, this little girl is saddled with this very Disneyesque label
Odd names - "Disneyesque" names - are not a rarity in the USA - especially amongst celebrities. I doubt hers will stand out much as an oddity in that country.
Why people get so incensed by this is beyond me. All the RF titles are “ made up” as are the “rules” - so if this couple want to bestow this made up title on their offspring then why not. It’s up to them . Maybe they want to stick two fingers up to people who care about this archaic nonsense.
Katie Price's DD is Princess.
Just saying.
archaic nonsense
Yep!

Yes I remember reading about "Princess Andre " and actually thinking she was a member of some little known Ruritanian royal family, before I tumbled ah! the Andre/Price daughter, although whether KP's other children feel miffed not to have equivalent royal titles bestowed on them remains to be seen!
I'm not surprised by the Prince/Princess titles, because this is a family whose sole intention is to be headline news for as long as they can. It goes with all their attention seeking interviews, books, docu series etc. Whether the children will later on want that remains to be seen, especially after their father has implied the attention he received almost destroyed his life. Why would he be wanting a re run of the same for his own kids?
As for Disney-esque sounding names for Princesses, I must admit in real life I cringe smile every time I hear Princess Charlene (of Monaco). Makes me think of Kylie!!
I think naming the girl after two such iconic ladies will complicate things for M & H's daughter, and adding Princess in my opinion is just OTT.
Imagine the outcry from MM and PH if the long gone tradition of putting the newly married couple to be and then checking the sheets the next morning to see if the marriage had been consummated. And then having loads of people at the birth to make sure that the baby had not come from another mother!

No-one is a toddler forever!
I wonder which is worse, being pursued everywhere by photographers and having to stand and smile so that every single event in your young life is publicised, and having no choice in the matter
or
Reading something your dad has written which you will probably find funny.
In the words of John Sebastian
And then I know that all I've learned, my kid assumes.
And all my deepest worries must be his cartoons.
But not a word about his children, because they are protected and not objects to be goggled at.
You mean babies don’t come out through your belly button?
To think all these years I have been labouring under a misapprehension!
(This is to Callistemon).
Apparently my great aunt thought they did and had to be enlightened before the birth.
