Soop: That dog has such a sweet face that you've captured perfectly!

Happy as we can possibly be
ALL GOOD Friends
And jolly good company.
Welcome.

Quiet day today a quick trip to Lidl this morning for essentials. Rather wet here today here but definitely not so cold which is good news. I am one of these people who have Orkney grandparents but as far as I am aware no connections to Westray where the breast cancer gene BRCA1 seems to be prevailant. Worrying though.
Happy birthday for tomorrow Hulahoop
‘Evening All’
Just back from babysitting and the kettle’s on and some bread is in the toaster.
😊
Goodnight everyone. x
Hello everyone, 💐💐💐 for so many of you suffering heartache.
I spent four hours on WI admin today! Unbelievable.I also did a huge pile of my ironing, plus a couple of tablecloths which OH refuses to do! For dinner I converted leftover Spag Bol into a Cottage Pie. It was tasty, but there’s some left. I know, I’m having lunch with my difficult in restaurants friend tomorrow, OH can have it.
Good evening all.
Just back from taking my friend who had Covid out for a meal.
We went to the local Beefeater which she likes.
A mediocre meal but a very enjoyable convivial evening.
So pleased Suedonims S is coping well and that she and her other S have enjoyed their time with him and best wishes and empathy to Grandmabatty in her time with her friend.
I have done similar with a young friend in her mid forties.
It was so hard but so worthwhile.
Sleep well everyone.
Morning, enjoyed my pint of the black stuff last night. Pleased you’re having a good time with your family SueD.
Early visit here to wish hollysteers a very Happy Birthday 🎂🎉🎈🥂 today.
peli and Blossoming The Iris is a great favourite of mine. Thank you for sharing your images.
Thank you to every Kitchener who has shared photos of sunnier climes. We have much to look forward to.
Since completing the pet portraits, I have been catching up with domestic issues. We have hospital appointments to prepare for. In between which, we'll visit Baggs. I am doing a mega wash right now. A mega iron will follow tomorrow.
During my absence, I shall not be visiting our kitchen. I have no tablet to take away with me. I know that you lovely lot will continue to take good care of each other. Your support for those in need of comfort is assured.
I shall call into our kitchen to say ta ta later tomorrow.
Tonight, at 8:30 precisely, I shall raise a glass of cheer to you all.

I’m case I don’t get here tomorrow safe travels and good luck with the appointments. soop. Hope there are positive outcomes. Please give baggs my good wishes and the same for minubaggs.
A very early ‘Evening All’.
We are sat enjoying a drink at T1 Manchester airport. The screen has just shown a 2 hour flight delay. Not even Mr O’Leary’s crew this time. Oh well. It happens (just not to us for years).
Grey clouds above the runway. It will be good to wake up to sunshine tomorrow.
I hope you find the lovely Baggs and family doing alright soop. Btw I love the doggy portraits you are very talented. It’s been very quiet in here today. x
Good evening all. I was wondering what time you were flying out Urms, hope they don’t keep you hanging about too long. I have been to the hairdressers so am once again feeling swishy and glam
Safe travels to soop also.
Hoping you’re well on your way soon Urms, tomorrow you’ll definitely wake up to the beautiful sunshine!
Yesterday we ordered “dos americanos” in a cafe bar here in Almeria, very popular here but not a coffee at all but a pink liqueur with cinnamon served in a shot glass - you live and learn! 🤣
Any chance of a picture blossoming? I’ve definitely got holiday hair just now!
Evening Kitcheners. That drink sounds lovely Brook. I could do with it, if my insides were stable. Blossoming I bet your hair is beautiful. I have hair envy as I have so little. Best wishes to Baggs and anyone else who needs them. My friend is still here but it would be a kindness if she wasn't. It's so hard watching her and I feel pretty useless. I'm very tired. Dd had organised a lovely afternoon tea for me, her great aunt and my mum. Mum didn't bother to turn up but that's been par for the course for a while now. Still disappointing for DD. It was lovely and I didn't overindulge. I'm home now and had a bowl of tomato soup as that was what I fancied. An early night for me. Enjoy your evening Kitcheners
Thinking of you GrandmaBatty💗 You are the best of friends… your friend has been so lucky to have such love at the end of her life.
Just watched Ireland slam the rugby. I took my daughter and grandchildren to a big supermarket, Imogen needed essentials for a food tech assessment at school, Saturday madness.
My daughter gets her cast off Thursday and is hoping she’ll be back driving again.
Interesting drink brook what was it like? My hair will never be swishy Blossoming lots of it, but unruly, maybe like me!
Hopefully Urms is on her way to warmer climes.
Enjoy your evening all.
Beautiful hair, beautiful skin and lovely colouring Blossoming
You are very blessed.
My GD’s friend is here we have had a nice meal but sadly she is going through difficult times at home.
Her mum is bipolar and going through a melt down so she is sheltering here.
I really don’t need it but can’t see her not having support.
Hope everyone has a good night and a nice Mothering Sunday if it is appropriate.
Awww you’re so gorgeous Blossoming! I’ve definitely got hair envy too
We’re just back from a walk about town, we got a bit caught up in a religious procession that left the cathedral and then went through the little streets stopping every so often to say a few prayers. People were dressed in robes, carried candles and wooden crosses and there was a huge float with a statue on top that was carried by a team of 16 men … it was probably something to do with Lent and the run up to Semana Santa but I don’t really knów .. !
It must be so hard seeing your friend at this time grandmabatty, but the last thing you should feel is useless. You’re such a good kind friend, sending you much ❤️❤️❤️
The Almeria Americano is quite an unusual drink Jax - not sure I’d have another but you’ve got to try these things!
annsixty so kind of you to offer your support to your DGD friend ❤️, hope things can improve a bit for her soon
Annsixty what a kind thing to do. 💐
Blossoming you look beautiful.
A true friend annsixty 💐
Stunning blossoming 👍
Annsixty what a lovely thing to do, you have a big heart,
Thank you for the complements ladies, sadly my hair is only this tidy when I’ve been tothe hairdresser!
Jax my hair went feral during lockdowns and shielding, it wasn’t cut for 2 years. I ended up using butterfly clasps to pin it up.
