The SNP is in a ‘tremendous mess’ apparently.

Since these two stepped down within weeks of one another the SNP seems to be imploding at a rate of knots.

What on Earth is going on? There is so much in-flighting.

Drop the chips, just drop the chips. 🤣🤣

Some Scots person (yes, unbelievably we're not all perfect) called in to say that the independence supporters had a chip on their shoulders. JOB pointed out that the caller sounded like he had a chip on his. Parallels with here, I think.

So if JOB says it that’s gospel? I haven’t noticed anyone but SNP supporters here displaying a chip.

Seriously? I’ve got no axe to grind, but I’ve certainly noticed the gloating and rudeness from a number of anti- independence supporters.

All this talk of chips is making me fancy fish and chips 🍟🐟, unfortunately we are going out to the local Indian Restaurant 🍚🥘🍷

You’re welcome here GG - we always have home-cooked fish and chips on Fridays. We are lucky to be able to get lovely fresh fish here near the Norfolk coast.

Casdon gloating or just happy to see Karma at last. Things have been bad up here. It's hard not to hope for some improvement.

We make a point of visiting Norfolk at least once a year, we like it very much, it’s where our favourite restaurant is.

If it wasn’t for the AC living so close to us here we would move there in a heartbeat 💗

300 miles west from you Germanshepherdsmum and we are having dressed 🦀 with our 🍟.

KS criticised the SNP today. He said SNP is imploding. So when Labour get in to Westminster what will he want to do about the 45 SNP members of Westminster?

Guess we’ll have to wait and see 😄
Can’t help a bit of gloating, so great to see the back of Sturgeon. Hoping that the Union carries on now with no more referendums.

What an odd question. What do you mean?

volver3 Fri 24-Mar-23 18:50:58

That was for Mollygo.

Sorry. James O'Brien.

Thanks

Mollygo Fri 24-Mar-23 18:53:50

No it wasn’t an odd question VD-but don’t worry if you didn’t understand.

Some days its like dealing with slightly backward toddlers...

Right then.

Why does he have to deal with 45 SNP Members of Westminster?

It'll be after an election so there could be any number of SNP MPs between 0 and 59. Because there will have been an election.
Why does he have to "deal with them"? He has to work with them, same as he has to work with the DUP, the Lib Dems and Count Binface, if he manages to beat Johnson.
He just has to get on with it.

Do you understand how Westminster works?

I didn’t understand what you meant either Mollygo. Why would Starmer treat the SNP differently to any opposition party if Labour win the next election?

And who is VD, that doesn’t relate to any poster’s name, and sounds an unkind acronym to use?

Mollygo Fri 24-Mar-23 20:07:05

Yes VD, and I’m getting to know how you and the SNP work too. The similarity is quite startling.

Aveline Fri 24-Mar-23 20:16:24

Oh Mollygo she isn't as bad as that!

Starmer doesn’t have to beat Johnson
The PM is called Rishi Sunak.
Hope that helps.

Jings was a very popular (sometimes controversial) poster on GN.
She is much missed.

Not so good at understanding English then?

Count Binface is going to stand against Johnston in Uxbridge, and Starmer will have to work with him if he - Binface - beats
Johnston.

Nice try, but as I said, "rather backward toddlers."

Insult to toddlers though.
