The SNP is in a ‘tremendous mess’ apparently.

Since these two stepped down within weeks of one another the SNP seems to be imploding at a rate of knots.

What on Earth is going on? There is so much in-flighting.

Aveline Fri 24-Mar-23 06:29:01

Paddyann I suggest that you look at the actual facts concerning the SNP itself as well as it's dire record in government. Also look at it's proven record of withholding information.

At FMQs yesterday the party leaders gave their farewell speeches to Nicola and managed to focus on the positives. Her sense of duty, her fairness, her work ethic. Ross threw a little tantrum and stamped his little unionist feet, telling us basically she didn't do what he wanted her to. Sad, inadequate little man.

Hamas Yousaf is in hot water with the msm for referring to Westminster as foreign. He's also a Republican. He's growing on me. grin

Aveline Fri 24-Mar-23 08:16:04

Come on Volver he actually said that over the years he'd asked her 256 questions and that she'd even answered one or two. Meanwhile there are now 1.1 million living in 'relative poverty' in Scotland. The highest number in 20 years. She has no answer to that. I bet she's happy to have left the hot seat.

As Aveline. You must be the only person in Scotland with a good word to say about wee Dougie today. Well, you and some of the tories. He was disgraceful.

Hamas Yousaf is in hot water with the msm for referring to Westminster as foreign

And you'll be in hot water for naming Humza as Hamas!

volver3 Fri 24-Mar-23 08:26:55

That was meant to be "Aw, Aveline". And I renamed Hamza earlier.

Autocorrect!

volver3 Fri 24-Mar-23 08:28:01

Oh I give up. I just can't spell today!! wink

Mollygo Fri 24-Mar-23 08:34:07

Paddyanne who said I was ignoring the things you mention?
Why do you see mentioning one fraud means denying another.
Or are you playing the my fraud’s better than your fraud game?

Refusing to acknowledge Scottish politicians’ wrongdoings and blaming everything on Westminster just makes the refuser look silly. Especially since there are Scottish MPs at Westminster.
But carry on ranting and being brainwashed if it keeps you happy.

volver3 Fri 24-Mar-23 08:42:57

Michelle Mone has run away with our money to the tune of billions.

The Express has created a stushie about accounting procedures in the SNP and accused people of things they haven't done.

But keep ranting and telling us we're the brainwashed ones Mollygo grin

Regarding the fact that there are "Scottish Voices” at Westminster...

If you are of the opinion that Scotland is just another region of the UK, like Yorkshire or Surrey, for instance, that equal representation for equal population is perfectly valid. However Scotland is a country that entered into a voluntary union with England but is only give a 10% representation in the government of the Union. I can rant for ages about the Parcel o’ Rogues who got us into this position, but I’ll desist just now.

The smallest countries in the EU have an equal say to the largest, and can pass laws for their own countries, but that’s not the case in the UK. The Westminster government can over-rule an act passed in the Scottish Parliament by a huge majority of MSPs from all parties. And they recently have, haven’t they? Putting us in our place, and telling us that we are subservient to what the big boys down in Westminster want.

So admonitions that we have nothing to complain about because we have “a voice in Westminster” aren’t going to cut it any more.

Mollygo Fri 24-Mar-23 09:29:32

But Volver Dear- you seem to have been been brainwashed into thinking Scottish politicians can do no wrong. You rant on as if it’s only Westminster who are capable of any perfidy.
I’ve never claimed that Westminster is perfect-often stating to the contrary.
If you’re so blinkered . . . or perhaps like PaddyAnne you like to hide one wrongdoing behind another.

volver3 Fri 24-Mar-23 09:32:45

you seem to have been been brainwashed into thinking Scottish politicians can do no wrong.

Michelle Mone is a Scottish politician.

🤣🤪

Mollygo Fri 24-Mar-23 09:50:55

So sorry VD. I wasn’t really interested to read the whole post.

volver3 Fri 24-Mar-23 09:54:29

That's OK MF. Not everybody has an adequate attention span to remember things from the first line of a 4-line post by the time they get to the end.

Mollygo Fri 24-Mar-23 09:58:45

Gosh VD, can you remember things you don’t read?

Taichinan Fri 24-Mar-23 13:37:54

I have no time for politics or politicians. I'm just sad that there's no way to avoid it and them!

Aveline Fri 24-Mar-23 15:19:51

Michelle Mone is a Scottish businesswoman and currently suspended from House of Lords not a politician.

Aveline Fri 24-Mar-23 15:22:21

I'm sorry you have such a chip on your shoulder Volver. I don't feel in the least subservient to Westminster and am glad they are able to curb excesses of Holyrood as necessary.

volver3 Fri 24-Mar-23 15:28:39

Subservient to Westminster. Sorry I laughed so much I choked a bit there. 🤣

You'd really prefer Holyrood to be done away with, wouldn't you Aveline? All us Scots who getting above our station...🤣🤣🤣

History won't look kindly on the North Britons who really, really want to be English. Parcel o' Rogues, remember?

volver3 Fri 24-Mar-23 15:32:36

Aveline

Michelle Mone is a Scottish businesswoman and currently suspended from House of Lords not a politician.

OK, can I say ex politician then? Given that she only made 5 speeches in the House of Lords in 8 years Baroness Mone of Mayfair wasn't much of a politician, that's for sure.

volver3 Fri 24-Mar-23 15:48:32

Aveline

I'm sorry you have such a chip on your shoulder Volver. I don't feel in the least subservient to Westminster and am glad they are able to curb excesses of Holyrood as necessary.

Me again!

Listening back to JOB from this morning. He's just told a caller complaining about the SNP and independence that he is the one with a chip on his shoulder. 😏

Mollygo Fri 24-Mar-23 17:05:01

VD the chip is yours.

Callistemon21 Fri 24-Mar-23 17:10:56

I may have missed this but who is JOB please?

volver3 Fri 24-Mar-23 17:12:13

Sorry. James O'Brien.

Germanshepherdsmum Fri 24-Mar-23 17:17:56

So if JOB says it that’s gospel? I haven’t noticed anyone but SNP supporters here displaying a chip.
