Shower for me. We have a bath in one bathroom but only because the roof slopes so much there is no room for a shower in there.

When I first bought this flat in 2014, I had the bath replaced with a walk in shower in preparation for my hip replacement. If necessary, it would have been easy for DH to help me post operatively then and again last Autumn after my heart surgery. 👍 🚿 ✔️ 👎 🛁 ✖️

Shower for me please, as it's what I'm used to from spending many years living in Singapore, Portugal and Cyprus. Baths never had quite have the same appeal for me in a hot climate, although I have enjoyed the occasional soak more recently perhaps when my aches and pains are playing up. Also, as I'm now pushing 80, the sheer effort of just getting in and out of a bath is quite a challenge, and I'm not about to invest in one of those "accessible" ones.

I like both and swap around depending on how much time I have. This morning will be a bath 🛁 with my new audio book.

I tend to alternate.

I too had a bath recently after regularly using the shower and it was so comforting and relaxing and I felt so much cleaner after.

Had our bathroom refurbished last year, got rid of the unused bath and had a walk in shower installed.

If we get so we can’t stand up in the shower, will sit down on a stool.

Can’t see why a shower won’t make you feel as clean as a bath OP?

I have just had a bath! Nothing remarkable about that you say, scratching your head.

We had a Shower put in around three years ago as part of a bathroom re curb, which I usually use. However this morning I had an urge for a nice deep bath like I used to have. I put in some of the expensive l’occitane. Gel my son bought me for Christmas and it was wonderful! I feel thoroughly clean now. I know it uses a lot of water, some people say you don’t get so clean, but it was so nice. I just lay back and thought of…….all sorts of things. Slightly in my defence is the fact I have had some leakage trouble down below recently so wanted a real clean (TMI!).

So what do people prefer? Remember this is a lighthearted discussion so effects on the environment etc are not allowed!
