Love flower words like jasmine and rose even dandelion.

What I would like to know, but will never find out, is whether we are attached to certain sounds as pure sounds, or if we are attached to sounds because of their associated meanings.

For instance Ailidh and Kate seem to me to like their fav words purely because of the sounds, especially 'trollop'.

Mine is definately because when I hear it in the small pocket it is spoken of I know I am nearly home.
When I was young I loved a poem about words but can only remember a small part of it

I also like Xanadu again it sets my imagination off. I'm probably on a completely different path from everyone else with their wide knowledge of English words DH is the wordsmith in our house.
