Blondiescot do get it looked over - we breezily told someone not to worry when our car appeared to be undamaged, but we later found that the bumper brackets were broken both sides.
On a lighter note, and 'on thread', my garden is full of glorious daffodils, there is a jug full on my dining room table and another in the sitting room, and a vase of deep pink tulips on the sideboard. The sky outside has been bright blue all day - Spring is here.

I have just heard that at last I’m being interviewed for suitability at a sheltered housing complex. I have been waiting for nearly 2 months for this. It is critical to “pass” for the purchase to proceed. Yay!

Had a beautiful riverside drive on way to and from business appointment today. Bliss. Furthermore, had left large washing out on the line and have now ironed (yes, I'm that sad!) and put it away. One every happy and satisfied bunny right here. Doesn't take much for this level of joy and......very promising lunch on line for tomorrow. Yippee!

Another lovely day for me, glorious sunshine, I hunted round for things to wash, all spaniels blankets, throws and towels now clean and fresh, wish I could say the same for the spaniel! Another lovely walk in the woods with my lovely daughter and three dogs between us, we spotted the pair of buzzards hovering, and amazingly followed by three offspring, what a wonderful sight!

So lovely to read all the lovely reports of a happy day in the sunshine.

I did a friend's nails this morning. She is off on a cruise with her whole family soon and wanted to look good. Her 82 year old nails are gorgeous even without treatment. It gave me great pleasure and she loved her new look.

The greatest joy of the day was being taken out for a late and rather liquid lunch by my daughter. We wandered around the shops after. Just having her arm through mine made my day.

I had a shiatsu and then sat in the warm sunshine in my garden
reading a new crime novel.. absolute bliss

Yes, it’s been a really lovely sunny day, and quite pleasant out of the shade. It really cheers the spirit, doesn’t it?
I managed to do a few more gardening jobs - just general tidying, but it was really satisfying to see the results of my labours and also so uplifting to listen to all the birds singing in the trees.

Beautiful sunny day. It's amazing how the sun can lift our moods so much.

A few bits had broken off a houseplant recently and I stuck them in water. Today they had roots so I potted them up. Very happy.

All I can say here in the prairies of Canada, is that the snowballs seem to be shrinking.

Today has been a good one for me. After trying for months to find a cleaner, I have at last found a lovely girl. My home smells and looks great. Can’t do it properly myself anymore due to a dodgy shoulder. 😣 DH does try bless him….but!
Spring flowers are blooming here too. It really is my favourite time of the year. Everything new and fresh. In the field next door there are tiny baby lambs. Such a delight to watch.
Sorry to hear about the car Foxglove. Always a pain when these things happen. At least you have your insurance to cover the cost. Keep smiling 😉

I'd love to be able to dry my sheeets outside, I only have a balcony and drying washing is verboten....

Hi two things today firstly we’ve been looking after our grandchildren today and they’ve been a joy today, out in the garden all afternoon happy as Larry.
Secondly I gave my notice in at work today, I’m nearly 66 and I won’t have to go back as I’m using my holiday as notice. Don’t think it’s sunk in yet but I do feel ready.

Congratulations on your retirement, I think that we do all know when we're ready to go!

It's a beautiful day here in this bit of Birmingham. I went for a walk via the canal bridge so that I could spot any wildlife. I then took an Easter egg next door for their little girl. I was unsure as they are Muslim but her mother said 'Yes she can have it. It's very sweet of you'. 🐰🐣

I picked my 6 year old grandson up from school last week and it started raining heavily. "Quick Nannie" - put your Underbrella up!

Sang a duet in the garden on a beautiful day at a woman's social/art/craft group I attend every week here in Australia.
The song is called 🎵"Love is all around"🎶....it felt so lovely to sing it.

Oh it's lovely - definitely try it. You can make it yourself (recipe below - scroll right down past all the ads) but the bought stuff is just as good. It is often on sale at National Trust shops, and the brand they sell is very nice.

It was a perfect Autumn day here, lovely sunshine. I met with some Probus friends and had a good chat over coffees, caught up with a few I hadn’t seen in a while which was lovely. This evening a group of 6 of us had our regular Tuesday night Zoom session Bible study and it is so good to be able to catch up with the help of technology (some are hundreds of kms away) .
