Good morning all from a cloudy Glasgow, where it is 5°C.
Good luck for your scan Mick, you will be exhausted before you even get there!
In Glasgow, when offered a scan appointment, I have been often asked which hospital suited me better, to save a complicated journey. It helps to make life less stressful, we have seven hospitals to choose from.
Yesterday, I managed to get a last minute hairdresser's appointment. I had been putting it off because of the vertigo episodes, but my hair was a mess! My fears were realised, when after a back wash, my vision was distorted, just like when I used to have migraines. Fortunately it soon passed.
The hairdresser spent the whole time, telling me about her recent marriage break up, her husband's drink driving ban and other dreadful things going on in her life.
Feeling so sad for her, I came out of there, counting my blessings.
I got home to a phone call from the Parish Priest, telling me the parish website was down and asking for help. 🤔🤔🤔🤔
It's so long since I managed our school website, that my brain hurt, thinking about how to sort it!
No wonder I dozed off later in the conservatory!
Today we have Dollie and are planning a trip Doon the watter to Largs. It appears that she is beside herself with excitement, especially as she has no idea what our plans are.
Neither have we, it depends on the weather. However a fish supper may be on the menu!.
Gbatty, I was at the funeral of a former teacher the other day and heard the loveliest eulogy, I have ever heard. Her two teenage great grandsons, with voices like an angel sang, I had tears running down my face. I have never heard such beautiful singing. I hope your meeting with the minister isn't too upsetting.
Hoping your DD has a better day Kitty and also good wishes to the other poorlies. Safe journey home, Llft and anyonelse travelling.
Enjoy your day, whatever your plans.
