Good morning from yet another dull Black Country. The sun did try to peep out later in the day yesterday.

Had a lovely few in hours in Bridgnorth yesterday with a friend. Lunch in a cafe there sitting in the garden. It wasn't sunny but wasn't too cold. We last met up about a year ago, so resolved to do better this year, but as they too have a touring caravan, one or the other always of us seems to be busy.

Tonight we are going to Symphony Hall in Birmingham to see Post Modern Jukebox. We are lucky to be on a direct train and bus route there, so its easy to travel to Brum, and it is free smile

Wishing you all a good day, with special thoughts of those struggling

Sorry you are feeling so unwell, Marydoll. Very hard to live life in the slow lane when you have always done everything at top speed. Hope today brings something to raise your spirits..

Misty this morning but I turned off the heating yesterday and the house feels comfortable so a small win, at least for now. Another email from Ovo to say they are unable to respond to me at present so will leave it till next week when perhaps I will feel more resolute. Concert this evening in a lovely local church but nothing else planned.

Good morning from a beautiful sunny day in Oxfordshire, no breeze for a change but it’s chilly, I must get out in the garden today and plant some seeds left over from last year, I doubt they will come to much. But it all needs a good weeding out there as well.
Yesterday I was having a sort out and my eye stared to water, it got so bad that it made my nose tickle and that started watering as well! I was like a drippy sneezy tap. Let’s hope it isn’t the start of Hay Fever. All ok so far this morning, but I’ll take an Anti Histamine before I venture outside. Eyesight is a bit blurry too, anyway at least I’ve dried up!
So sorry that some GNs are feeling so poorly or have poorly family.
Have a good day everyone, hugs for those who aren’t so chipper today.💐

Good morning Mick and all from - you've guessed it! - a grey cold Angus coast. This is going on for too long, Mr Weatherman. Enough is enough. Though I did get a small wash dried outside yesterday which was very unexpected.
My new/repaired hearing aids seem to be working a treat - it's taken me 15 months of repeated visits and complaints to get to this stage, so it's a relief. I'm meeting DD and Dancing Dgd tomorrow so they'll get a proper testing then. The dancer is off to dance in Estonia at the end of next week and I want to hear all about it.
I'm glad your hospital appointments are back on track Mick. Everything seems to have become more and more inefficient since covid, witness your keys, Ash. Love that expression couldn't run a bath!
Glad your mother-in-law is homegrammaretto - she's much better in her own bed.
A family evening of board games sounds lovely*Brook*.
Nothing to report from here - except that I might give in and put the heating on 'continuous' for a while. The fabric of the house is so cool now that it rarely climbs above 14° now without the sun warming it.
Have a good holiday weekend everyone and may the warmth of the sun soothe Away your troubles x

Morning from an overcast S Yorks.

House valuer came yesterday: I'm going to wait a bit till some decorating is done at the end of May which suits as still waiting for appointments and test results meaning a minor op.

Very tired after much house sorting ready for yesterday so its probably a lazy gym day later.

Bests for outings and poorlies and family poorlies

Good morning all from heavy grey skies in Glasgow.

As no rain is forecast, I will keep myself busy in the garden dividing a clump of silver sedum to plant in other areas.
DH is looking forward to a day of F1 and snooker championships.
Sar 💐

Have a good weekend all.

Good morning. Safely home after my solo trip which was very much enjoyed. Very relaxing and I shall do it again.
However pleased to be home and looking forward to seeing the family tomorrow.
Today we have some food shopping to do and I need to make a couple of puds for tomorrow.
Wishing all a good weekend.

Good morning Mick and all from a brightening northwest coast.
Didn’t enjoy art yesterday as it involved messing around with masking fluid and layers of watercolour, the final result wasn’t worth it, would have been happier just painting the picture.

Then into city and my close friend still not himself after macular degeneration and cataract op. Rather hard work. The Italian restaurant I had decided on has no booking system for parties less than 6 so as there was a queue, we opted for a Chinese. Home early and I could carry on drooling over James Norton in War and Peace😁
Thoughts to all with worries and troubles.
