GM excited for you, what a pain about the fridge/freezer, I didn’t realise they charge now for unpacking, I always get my stuff unpacked after I ordered a new cooker a few years ago and it arrived very nicely packaged but with a huge dent in it, obviously it was damaged but they packed it anyway.

Good to see you back Marydoll take it easy, maybe if the sun shines you can sit outside suitably wrapped up and doze.
I must mow the lawn today, it’s No Mow May but I need to sneak this one in as it’s been too wet to do until now, for the rest of the month I shall mow pathways through so that we don’t get wet feet whilst feeding the birds, going to the clothes line and various other bits of the garden.
I cooked ahead yesterday, so an easy day for me, but plenty of housework to do, decluttering has made everywhere quite dusty.

A special Good morning to you Mick, happy birthday, give yourself a little treat! And good morning, all, it's grey and cool here in Carlisle.
It was the same yesterday morning but the sun got out in the afternoon and I actually had my french windows open for a while. I got out in the garden to resume my planting, there's still more to do, filling in the gaps left by winter's depredations.
Today, I will be off into town shortly for some necessary errands and maybe a coffee treat, definitely no cake though as they're getting to be a ridiculous price.
Later, there may be housework or not and definitely some reading of a new book...well I've read it before but have forgotten the denouement. Probably a result of being older than you Mick!

Bad luck Marydoll, I hope you, and Dollie, are soon back to your usual selves.

We had a good clear up in the garden yesterday and then a trip to a local nursery to replace a few plants that had been killed by heavy frosts.
Today we have DGS 2 for an hour or so this morning and again early evening while his big brother has a swimming lesson.
I am out to lunch with 3 friends and then a Flower club meeting later.

Here the tradition is to have a pie and a pint with the removers but it would need to be non alcoholic these days.

I had the dehumidifier on all yesterday and washed 3 loads of towels used for mopping up after the flood on Sunday.

Today chiropractor, window cleaner who didn't come last week a friend for coffee distraction and another friend for a cuppa this afternoon.
Thinking particularly of my Glesgu pals Marydoll

Completely overdid the gardening yesterday, wiped myself out by teatime 😵‍💫, and didn’t sleep well either. All my own fault.
Garden is looking lovely, I am really pleased with it (and my efforts!). Just two tubs to weed today and a bit of planting (I have asked DH to dig the last border 🤞🏻)

Like you Greyduster I too have precious photos on my iPad and I love reminiscing with them.
Its a lovely sunny start to the day here on the east coast of Fife this coastline is so beautiful I have a view to die for. My dd was telling me Donald Trump was in her neck of the woods yesterday what a palaver he’s meant to be going to build another golf course there even although the one he already has is failing to make a profit he’s definitely got money to burn the silly fool

A brief (for me) good morning from me, to wish Mick a happy birthday on his special day.

Thank you to all those, who have missed me and showed concern.
I was very unwell with a virus, a bit of a chest infection and the continuous vomiting triggered an angina attack. Unfortunately my stash of anti nausea medication was useless.
Due to the fact that I am immunocompromised, I can't fight these things off quickly any more, so sleeping it off is the best plan.
Poor Mr MD was frantic with worry and wanted me to go to hospital, however I was having none of it.

On top of that my wee Dollie had the same bug, accompanied by nosebleeds. 😔
Thankfully, I am on the mend, still feeling rubbish, but not as rubbish as I was! I have just lost two days of my life, so I have some making up to do!

This a big day for my darling Babydoll, 😍 she is being weighed again today, fingers crossed she won't be referred to hospital.
It's her mum's birthday today, so a weight gain would be the best present ever.

How lovely to see Bella posting, I do miss my trips to Malta!

My thoughts have been with my pal, Kalu and her DH.
I'm now going to catch up on all your doings! Best wishes to all the poorlies.
