Witzend it does sound very disrespectful in that scenario. I definitely wouldn’t say it. I never said it with the children either, it was always others who would as me, ‘have you toileted the children’.

It was a dementia-only care home, and TBH I honestly don’t think any of the ‘toiletees’ cared, that is if they were even aware. My poor old mother certainly didn’t.

People suffering dementia deserve the same respect as those who aren't, IMO. The fact they are unaware does not make it acceptable to use terminology that degrades them.
If the word "toileted" doesn't bother you, then fine - but it can be seen as de-humanising, in which case it shouldn't be acceptable to use it when dealing with dementia patients.
