I’d have loved to have one of those when I was little! I do still have the Lion Rampant flag I waved in Glasgow when I was 3 though, does that count! 😂

I didn't have that, but I do still have a magnificent metal model of King Edward's throne. It is about 8 inches tall and was a gift from a dearly loved grandmother and I wouldn't part for it for any reason.

I also have lkovely pop-up book about the coronation.

I also had a free mug, which I think was provided by the state, although it could have been from the school. I also have a crown (5 shilling) coin for the coronation and various other royal occasions before and since. I can't decide whether to order a Charles 111 one, as none of the family will want them when I have 'gone'.

Yes I have one, still in its original box. The coach is gold, your photo looks like it’s silver. I wasn’t born at the time of the coronation, it belonged to my late mother.

They are now selling for almost £1,000.

I was just thinking of that today. I have a memory of playing with a small carriage when I was a child but have no idea if it was that particular one. It’s a very vivid memory, though, and I don’t remember many things from my childhood. One of those frustrating things that I have no one left in my family to ask.

I had a Golden Coach, a Coronation mug and a Coronation coin. At Brownies I won (in a free raffle) a glass jar, in the shape of a crown, which was filled with red, white and blue rock. At school we learned a song, Coronation Bells.
My school also took us to the cinema to see the coloured film of the Coronation. I also watched the ceremony live on the tiny TV screen.

I was given one to build, and we got in such a mess with all the lines, etc- it ended up never finished and eventually, in the bin.

I have a coronation crown and teaspoon (1953).

Also have 3 glass tumblers, Victoria, Edward V11 and Alexandra, plus various china from the jubilees and weddings (now divorces).

Thought I would need to car boot them, but chatting to DD in Australia, she said she would love stuff like that. I was amazed as she is very anti-clutter, but likes the Royals.

I was thrilled, and said she can have whatever she likes.

All I have left is the coach and horses, the programme of the coronation, a coronation coin, a money box the shape of a crown. I also have two tin boxes that contained toffees and a replica of the spoon used for annointing. Having said that, the coach and programme are the only thing I can put my hand on, the rest are ’somewhere’, no doubt they will turn up one day.

Yes still got an original one from 1953 in the original box with all the horses, also have in another original box the walking musicians, etc Use to set it up on the dining room table when I was younger

I’ve still got mine. Looking at it now. It was gold, but the gold has worn off and it now looks silver. All eight tiny horses intact, though.

I had one, it was THE toy to have at the time, no idea what happened to it though.

I have nothing like that but we have lots of Coronation mugs that are blue tacked in place and never even dusted that came from my husband(age 93)'s mother. You have just made me realise that they could be the perfect Silver wedding gift for my Australian sister in law who loves anything antique from the U.K.

I was telling my DGS this morning about my coach and how I loved it. I have no idea what happened to it and was glad to hear others saying the same. DGS said I couldn't have loved it that much if I can't remember where it went - true! But then it was quite some time ago and I am pleased I can read out this thread to him tomorrow. I remember playing with one as a small child. I don’t remember the set of horses. I think the carriage was played with for a couple of years till it eventually buckled and fell apart.

I have a musical Coronation teapot which I haven’t seen for years but I know is packed away somewhere in a box. I must set about looking for it one of these days.

I had a spoon which I hand kept but when I looked yesterday it wasn’t where I thought it should be.
Not sure who gave them to us and wonder if today’s children received anything.

DH had a coach and horses, we still have it somewhere.

My sister and I had a money box each in the shape of a Crown and the family had a 9 inch screen Pye television. From then I could watch Muffin the Mule and Andy Pandy. Sadly no coronation coach but we did wave to the Queen when she was driven in a car across Blackheath I think a few days after the coronation. I must Google that and see if it was then or later in the year.
