Good morning all from a sunny Glasgow, where although only 3°C, it is expected to reach 19°C.
GM glad to hear you sounding more upbeat and congratulations to your DD, WWM.
I have busy day to day, another set of First Communions and this will be a larger number of children than last week, some of my former colleagues will be attending.
Also, I have to open up the church for Vigil Mass tonight.
Yesrday was very busy and I'm quite weary today. Last week's holiday has worn me out! 🤣 However, I'm not complaining, I had a lovely time. There were roadworks everywhere and the journey took longer than usual. DH hates driving on the Queensferry crossing, but the sat nav kept trying to take us there! At the last minute, I spotted a sign for a town we had passed through on our outward journey, so disaster avoided and we crossed the Kincardine bridge, DH's original plan.
One the way home, we stopped at the boutique in Elie and the owner opened up early, when she saw me peering in the window! All I will say is, it was worth her while. 😉 I had been saving all year for this.
She suggested a top, which was not my style, but insisted I try it on. It looked amazing and DH said he would treat me.🥰
I discovered that she owns a holiday let in Pittenweem and gave me her phone number, so that I could by pass the middleman, if I was interested.
A detour was made to the surgery, where I was surprised, that despite asking me to call him for a review, before issuing a prescription (not yet done), my GP had prescribed a stash of anti nausea pills. I was so relieved, the vertigo is still lurking in the background.
Dinner last night was fish bought straight off the boat at Pittenweem yesterday morning, it was so fresh (and cheap) it was falling apart. I have never tasted anything so delicious, apart from the freshly caught prawns on Wednesday.
Wishing you all a pleasant day and Mick enjoy your time with your family.
Hoping to hear better news from GMB and a shout out for Mizuna' 💐 Our twigs are laden with blossom!
