Good morning Mick, morning all from bright South Lanarkshire.

Happy birthday to Marydoll and also to creativeness, welcome to the thread.

Sorry you had a bad day yesterday multi, I didn’t realise your sister lives with you now, I’m sure she is a comfort to you most days.

The cough and headache I awoke with yesterday turned out to be Covid so my plans were scuppered and I spent the day resting on the sofa. I feel worse today so it’ll be another day of doing nothing.

Have the best day possible everyone.

Good Morning Mick and everyone from a rather grey morning.
We are up late due to watching all of Eurovision and thought Sweden was a very worthy winner.

We have just returned from a couple of days in Leeds. We saw Andre Rieu at the Leeds Arena and wow it was spectacular. We stayed at the Marriott Hotel, did some shopping and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
DH needs to cut the grass today so hoping it stays dry.
My poor son in China has covid again he only had it at Christmas. They are hoping DIL doesn’t go into labour while he’s positive as he won’t be able to accompany her so hopefully a few days will see it gone. 🤞

Hoping Mick enjoys his trip away today.

Happy Birthday to Marydoll enjoy your day and your visit from your little ladies🎂💐
Happy birthday also to creativeness it’s good to hear from you💐

Grandmabatty wow to be able to speak languages like that. Could I be more in awe of you. Hope you are feeling better in yourself. 💐
Ash love the photo of the roundabout.

Wishing everyone a lovely Sunday. Enjoy family and friend visits and delicious Sunday lunches. 🌻🌻

Ginny what lovely little garments. My family treasure the tiny green hat worn by my, now fourteen year old, grandson when he was a very poorly newborn in Special Care.
Thank you for caring.

A late good morning from yet another dull Suffolk day. Our DS was born 43 years ago today in the early hours. We were living in London at the time and the 13th had been a boiling hot day. I remember my DH in a tee shirt in the delivery room in the early hours of the morning.

14th May was a TUC day of action and there were no buses or tubes and taxis were like gold dust. DH decided to walk from Stoke Newington to UCH to visit us and arrived delighted to see us both but full of chatter about the demonstrations etc he had seen on the way.

A day to remember in more ways than one.

DS and ‘tribe’ are arriving in just over an hour so had better get dressed and busy.

Hope those with birthdays have a lovely day and all find something pleasurable to do.

Baubles 💐. Get well soon. And 💐 to your daughter in law Shazza.

Good morning Mick and all from Sunnyside northwest coast. I have been able to name it Sunnyside for a few days now, perfect weather.
I watched the Eurovision right through for the very first time. Might not bother again😁but pleased for the city of Liverpool.

DD was really pleased and surprised by the return of a favourite lightweight black jacket left on the Orient Express, my fault as I had it over my arm leaving the train. I left my nice Powder beige trilby style hat on the train, but I think it’s a bit late for that now…
Feel like doing nowt, but might have a walk in the sand dunes at the end of the road, so lucky to have this vast expanse on my doorstep.

Pretty roundabout Ashcombe, glad you seem to be settling in GM and welcome with birthday greetings to creativeness

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders.
I woke to a Happy Mother's day message from my NZ family.
A lovely surprise.
I took my French guests/helpers to the seaside yesterday evening where we walked along the beach. They were impressed by the number of mad swimmers in the North Sea. It doesn't get dark here until about 9.30pm.
Today I have sent them into the Borders to perhaps see Abbotsford and Daywick.
I feel like a tour guide.
"My" potters are coming here this afternoon for an outdoor firing. We are praying to the weather gods as I have no outdoor shelter.
Happy birthday to Marydoll and to Creativity
I have just remembered my nephew's bd was yesterday! 😢 it was a big one too

Enjoy your outings and celebrations everyone.

A belated Good Morning. MrB and I have had a long lie-in and are heading off for brunch on the marina. It’s a warm dry day but a lot more cloud about.

I will catch up on your news later, have a Happy Sunday all 🌻

Happy birthday Marydoll! Have a love day! Been out to my vestibular Physiotherapy session this morning. Only just sat down. DH insisted on visiting The Range to buy bird stuff. I put on the petted lip and complained that I hadn’t got a present but to no avail! At least the weather has improved today - it’s lovely and sunny .
Have a good Sunday all!
