British Gas grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrr

How I hate British Gas.
They owe my mum who is in a nursing home with dementia nearly £2500.
Family home was sold in February 2023.
15 phone calls and 8 emails promising to refund this money back into her account.
I've even emailed the CEO but had no response from him.
What should I do next any advice please.

Get a solicitor to write to them, they are not going to take any notice of you, obviously, and I doubt they will be worried about anything you post on Facebook.

I wouldn’t spend money on a solicitor in this situation. In addition to writing to the ombudsman you could also contact Jill Insley of the Sunday Times. She is very successful in resolving problems with the likes of British Gas.
