Good morning all from a cloudy Glasgow, where its currently 8 °C, with sunny spells predicted later.
I usually do my supermarket shop on a Friday, but the PP has asked for my help, doing an inventory of all the contents of the presbytery for insurance purposes, so I shall go to Mass and keep all the poorlies in my thoughts and prayers.
There have been two recent electrical fires in parish houses, which has been a wake up call I think.
I have no other plans for the rest of the day, but to rest. The garden is beckoning, but the least physical exertion is leaving me lightheaded and feeling unwell, so I must do as I have been told although I am very frustrated about it all.
The fact that many have gooseberries, prompted me to check mine. They are tiny and no where ready for picking, if ever! 😞However, it looks as if I will have a good apple crop in the autumn.
You seem to be much more settled and confident getting about, GM. I don't know why I thought you lived close to your DD and imagined you popping in and out and getting involved in parish activities.
brook, I hope your DH is making good progress after his op.
Mick, I despair that our advice is falling on deaf ears and you are still using public transport so close to your procedure, 😞
Have a great time, Oops, I am so envious. Easier said than done, but try not to worry too much.
Have a good day, everyone.
