I can see why being male gives you an advantage in a sprort that requires strength but in angling does it matter if you are male or female and why is it assumed that there being a male in their team gives them an advantage. Why have men and women teams and then assume that the womens team will perform less well than the mens. Just have teams that can consist of men or women.

Presumably the women enjoy the sport as it is but you want them to have a different sport, just to humour some men.
The women are not 'second-rate' as you put it. They are competing within the capabilities of female bodies, which men never have.

You want to change the whole ethos and point of the sport so a man who identifies as female can compete where he wants to? Women aren't second rate athletes, footballers, rugby players, swimmers etc they are women competitors who would like fair competition. Why should everything have to accommodate men who want to compete out of their sex class, in other words cheat?
