Thanks for the heads up! Mine expires in September and I was about to apply for one given the 3 month wait. Only need it for ID as I dont drive.

This reminds me of my late father, who wasn't a great fan of Prince Charles (to put it mildly). When he reached his mid 90s, he bought sufficient postage stamps with the Queen's head on to last for the rest of his life so he would never have to 'lick the back of Charles' head'. He succeeded - and, the way postage has increased, it turned out to be quite a good investment! He died just before the queen, so I was quite pleased in a way that he didn't have to see the new King being crowned as he would have hated it. I'll probably be arrested for treason now!

Personally I shall look forward to getting my new passport after my next visit to Europe. Queen or King on the front, as long as its valid, I don't care.

I can't stand the King or his wife but it wouldn't stop me getting a new passport no matter whose name was on the front. I wouldn't let that ruin my enjoyment of travelling.

My passport expired years ago
It was last extended at a post office as the passport people were so inundated with applications.

As long as MY NAME is on it, I'll be all right . I've still got a burgundy Euro passport anyway, haven't even had a chance to get a silly it's-black-not-blue Brexit one.

No interest in which monarch's name is on my passport. Just wish I could go back to having an EU passport again.

I don't even care what colour it is, OldEnough2noBetter, as long as it does what it says on the tin!

Don’t care. My passport is still dark red with EU stars on it. I will renew it when I need to.

I've just received mine yesterday.
The reason I never noticed was because I don't care. I've not looked, nor am I likely to.
Also, I applied online on the 10th/07 and it arrived on the 19th/07.
Replacements are not taking long at all at the moment.

That doesn't bother me either. I neither want or need their approval any more than they need mine. The difference is that if there are enough people like me, we won't have them any more on the front's of our passports whereas my passport will still have my lovely picture in it. 🤣
