Good Morning Everyone,
Its dry but looking a bit grey over brackley this morning.
I had Fish & Chips yesterday from the local chippie ,and no change in my weight .
Today I plan to go to Bicester this morning on the bus ,and then watch cycling on TV , followed by a Chinese Take Away , trying to get back into a normal eating pattern .
Take Care,
Mick

Sunny but breezy here in Shropshire.
Just been for our morning walk, according to my watch we are covering the distance in a faster time so that is good.
Had an ecg yesterday to try to sort out iregular heart beats that come and go. It showed not atrial fibrillation but needs further investigation. Dr suggested going private for a cardiac consultant appt as waiting list for nhs is long so will explore that option on Monday
No other plans for today though the lawn probably needs cutting.
Good news about Mr Corner, hope progress continues.
Wishing everyone a nice weekend.

Was just discussing this with a friend ten minutes ago Thorntrees! It's often felt that going private is somehow 'jumping the queue' but in fact if you can afford it you are actually shortening the queue and helping those who can't afford it. I hope you can do that and your mind can be put at rest.

Grandmabatty nor to me - but it never sounds as delicious as it actually is! Maybe I should have said humble mince and tatties instead!

More beautiful photos of heather. Thanks greyduster.

Oooh stovies, blossoming! My sister's ones were to die for, but I have never really acquired the knack. She said you had to use 'proper' beef dripping from the butcher, but I don't know if you can still get that? Must give it another try sometime. Enjoy yours!

Thorntrees, I have waited a year for an Urgent cardiology appt. It came in this morning. I waited so long, I am now under two different consultants at two different hospitals.
If you can afford it, go for it.

Thank you Marydolland Taichinan We have decided to book an appt for an initial consultation so will do that on Monday.
I do feel a bit guilty about going private but not knowing what is going on is not doing either DH or me any good and our GP advised us to go this route if we could afford it.
If treatment is needed we will take it from there.

Loving those pics, Greyduster. Would it be alright if I used them as painting ideas?

Be my guest, Baggs. The one of Higger Tor will lend itself to a brushstroke or two.
