Hi. I have a grandaughter aged 2 3/4 who was due to be flower girl at wedding. Point blank refuses to wear the dress. Plan B could any one recommend site where I could find white plainish dress so she can still join in if she wants too. We are travelling to wedding and she as not met any of them so we do not want to pressure her.

V3ra

My daughter was just over 2 when my sister got married.
Instead of being included in the bridal party she had a new outfit, presented my sister with a lucky horseshoe after the ceremony, and posed for a photo.
That was quite enough involvement for her!

Yes my three over the years did the same. Much more relaxed, and they loved giving the horseshoes.

Here's some ideas. I don't know when the wedding is, but there are some simple white summer dresses around now, a few in the sale. I think you might want avoid her looking too party or weddingy.

Tell me about it. Quite frankly we just want her to enjoy it and lots of family looking forward to meeting her. Just thought something simple and light because she never stands still. Will look on the sites you suggested Thanks.

That pink mice dress is gorgeous isn’t it Fairislecable ?

I am very tempted by it especially as it’s been reduced !
I do love their clothes but I can’t always justify the price for the little time they are worn.

Most little girls like a Princess dress 😃 why not let her choose one herself?

Monsoon is great -but don't force a reluctant child into a dress which she hates !

I would invest in a horseshoe/silver bell or similar as V3ra mentions.

My parents did that to spare me (and others) the stress when I was a toddler.
Still have the (lovely) photos somewhere.

I actually remember choosing the bell! I think I was 3.

I got a couple from ebay once. They were lovely.

If you google "ebay toddler flower girl dresses uk" lots of reasonable price dresses are available.

There are some lovely dresses in John Lewis, reduced to clear , including a bridesmaid dress.
Hope you find something.
