I would love to have retired to the Outer Hebrides as I have visited several times in pursuit of family history. The quiet life would have suited me but not DH who continued working long after retirement age. Anyway we were needed here to support the family and now I wouldn’t want to be too far from all the necessary amenities. Here we can catch a bus to our local hospital. There would be much more problematic and frustrating.
Young people ‘expected’ to engage with government's new work support plans.
