Just that really……

Smileless2012 Sun 27-Aug-23 19:25:32

Me too Poppyred.

Me too!!!!!! angry
How can that verdict have been brought in when the video was clear for all to see?

Sparklefizz Sun 27-Aug-23 19:27:29

How can thugs be prosecuted for punching police horses during riots when this precedent has been set?

Primrose53 Sun 27-Aug-23 19:31:48

I agree. You can tell from the video she really lost it and meant to hurt the pony.

We have horses and would never treat them like she did. We have had one that hated being loaded into a truck and you just have to be patient and reassure them, never resort to hitting them.

I am glad she lost her teaching job but read today she has another job.

Me too - it will be a free for all now 😡 poor animals ….

GrannyGravy13 Sun 27-Aug-23 19:43:35

As a horse owner I am flipping furious 🤬🤬🤬

rafichagran Sun 27-Aug-23 19:45:05

Me too, look at the outrage with Zouma for kicking his cat, he was found guilty and punished and so he should have been, he was vilified and people would not let it go.
A posh woman kicks and slaps a horse, as shown on the news, and is found not guilty. The double standards disgust me.

Casdon Sun 27-Aug-23 19:46:42

I agree, but I also think that the people who made deaths threats to her children as a result of what she did really are the lowest of the low.

NotSpaghetti Sun 27-Aug-23 19:46:43

She said she was "training" it!

Grandmadinosaur Sun 27-Aug-23 19:47:30

It was a disgraceful decision especially with the evidence plain to see.

Squiffy Sun 27-Aug-23 19:51:12

I haven’t read all the details yet. How was it that she was found not guilty when there was evidence showing what she did? 🤬

GrannyGravy13 Sun 27-Aug-23 19:53:23

NotSpaghetti

She said she was "training" it!

Having backed/trained several young horses, punching them on the nose was never a training tool

Yes so do I, the children are innocent in all this. Its her that U am disgusted at.

MrsThatcher Sun 27-Aug-23 19:57:17

Me too! Horrible woman. I’m livid she got away with such cruelty!!!

Greenfinch Sun 27-Aug-23 19:57:31

A very upsetting video. What sort of person is she? A very bad tempered one obviously. Disgraceful !

rafichagran Sun 27-Aug-23 19:57:33

I, sorry.

Louella12 Sun 27-Aug-23 20:06:24

I can't believe it either

Glorianny Sun 27-Aug-23 20:06:31

The jury saw all the evidence and judged her not guilty. This process of trying people based on short video clips is not legal or balanced.

Oldbat1 Sun 27-Aug-23 20:17:38

Wrong decision! Disgraceful behaviour.

BlueBelle Sun 27-Aug-23 20:26:02

Disgraceful and a very very bad verdict

Aveline Sun 27-Aug-23 20:38:15

I just don't understand it! No way to treat a horse or any animal. How on earth did she get away with it?

Totally agree. Been around horses all my life and would never have dreamed of treating any of them in that manner. My daughter's pony used to be a bit wary of loading into a horse box, but with gentle coaxing and plenty of patience, she eventually got used to it. There's NO excuse for slapping and kicking a horse the way that woman did in the video.
PS: I certainly don't condone anyone giving her family abuse though - especially the children.

25Avalon Sun 27-Aug-23 20:51:52

I don’t know how she got away with it. It must have been some technicality that the judge instructed the jury on.

Millie22 Sun 27-Aug-23 20:56:03

She kicked her horse quite clearly on the film clip and slapped it several times as well. We have seen it countless times on our local news.

Guilty every time.
