Taichinan and georgesgran thinking of you both today 💐

Good morning to you.
You will get more responses to your query if you post again on the pets forum.
I myself have a wandering cat but I don’t make any attempt to restrain her.
If neighbours are unhappy so far no one has complained.

Nannipocci1 Sat 02-Sept-23 11:21:37

Hi I have a much loved rag doll cat,no cat flap , she only uses a litter tray and only goes in the garden if I am home.
I have a cat hating neighbour who has put bbq spikes on the fence and called me ars…le for letting the cat in her garden. Cats are legally free to roam. I understand some people don’t like cats but she doesn’t dig or damage anything
Any thought please

Am impressed Karmalady with your knowledge of compressors. Still getting used to hammers and things after DH died in the spring. Much is a mystery to me but I am determined to learn.

Good morning all from a sunny W Kent. I think most of today will be spent getting ready for a family get together tomorrow. Everything takes much longer now and I don't like to appear flustered when they come.
Taichainan flowers
Corner glad you were able to get hold of the GP
Sago all the best for today.
Good wishes to all

Auntieflo Sat 02-Sept-23 09:59:57

Good morning Mick, Annie and all. Such good advice Mick from your friends on here.
Corner, so glad to hear that MrC is now better after his frightening experience.
Urms, thank you for the Matt cartoons recently, and Soooo lovely to see you posting again. Thinking of you.
To Taichinan flowers .
I will keep you close today, as it is our 62nd Wedding Anniversary today. Oh my gosh. How did we do that? DD and SIL are coming later with curries to enjoy, and I have a pudding in the freezer to finish with.
Later we will have to go shopping to finish what we started yesterday. I just didn't have the strength to do any more, and when we got home, I lay on the sofa and slept for more than an hour. So our lunch, (late), was a cup of tea and slice of cake. I had bought fresh mackerel for dinner, and that was so good.
Sago, I feel for you having to clear up after somebody else's party. Hope they feel duly sorry for the mess they left.
Have a good day one and all.

Early morning cloud here with showers forecast!! We’ll see.

Taichainan such a sad loss 💐

Cornergran very scary for both you and Mr.C 💐

Good morning from Durham. Pictures of my changed sun/age spot were taken at the Surgery and forwarded to Dermatology.
I might or might not hear from them.
Boiler serviced, tested and good to go for another year.
Last night DD2, who has a filthy cold and had almost lost her voice, told me her DH is driving to Brighton and back to watch a football match!! Of course, I’ve cancelled what weekend plans I had (albeit not many) to go over and help her with DGS2. We’ll take him out somewhere after his nap, I’ve a nail appointment at 5, then I’ll go back and help with the bedtime routine. I’ll take her Little Dog with me, as DGS2 adores him and they can play together.
Another day of memories - would have been our 51st wedding anniversary.
Car packed up with DD2’s clean laundry. Coffee with a friend first, then I’ll swing back to pick up the dog. It’s all go.
Sorry to hear of some health issues - always seems worse over a weekend. Hope things improve.
Best wishes to all. X

Good morning Mick and all from sunny Lancashire, where it is currently 16°C.

Yesterday was a good day, no stomach pain and managed to do a few jobs. Feeling good so far today, I am trying not to rush things and do too much.

What a scary experience Cornergran. I hope things are improving now.

Taichinan flowers

As always thinking of all dealing with troubles.

Have a good day all whatever you’re doing🌻

Good morning Mick and all from Sunnyside northwest coast.
Yesterday I had a battery put into my late DHs rather battered Gucci watch, it seemed ok, but has started jumping forward a couple of hours. I don’t think it’s worth spending money on it.

Then a stressed journey to my hairdressers in the next city, the bypass undergoing serious road works. Down to one lane and not moving. Not good for my high blood pressure. I rang through to let them know. I’m working out a different route for when I sing in a lunchtime concert next week as I will be stressed enough without a stressful journey…

Bachelor DD off to Mykonos with four friends today, hope the flights are ok and I will enjoy a quiet day.

Hope things improve Corner also Mick, thoughts to Urms and Kalu and thinking of you today Taichnan, you are always so cheerful.🌹

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders.
Looking great for the street fair. I am helping to set up but then abandoning everyone to go foraging for mushrooms with an expert
Sago I hope the wedding goes wonderfully well ❤️‍🩹

Sorry about your DH corner and hope all is well now

Have the best day you can everyone.

Good morning Mick and all. 8° rising to 19° on the beautiful sunny Angus coast - a scorcher by my standards!
I'm glad you are going to contact someone regarding your rapid weight gain and swollen legs Mick - sounds very like fluid retention as others have said.
Cornergran what a frightening episode, but so glad there was support for you both from friendly neighbours and excellent medics. I hope Mr C feels better today.
What an amazing cake Grandmabatty! Your DD is indeed talented.
Have an enjoyable and more peaceful day to day grandmattie.
Enjoy your visit to Wales karma after today's rude awakening, and yours to Norfolk foxy. Safe travels both.
Today is the 29th anniversary of DH's death in a road accident. He has now been gone a year longer than the time we had together and I'm always so sad for him that he missed so much of a what could have been a long life - and angry at the homicidal idiot who deprived him of so much. Life has gone on, and I so appreciate the blessings I have, but the hole he left has never been filled.
But today is beautiful and I shall enjoy it down by the pond counting baby fish - as you do 😉 - taking in the vit D.
Have the best day you can everyone and do enjoy the warmth ☀️🍁🍂

Oopsadaisy1 Sat 02-Sept-23 08:51:17

Good morning Mick and all, its dull here when it should have been a sunny morning ( so said the Met office yesterday) but I’ll get the veg plot dug over today I think, better when it isn’t too hot.
Yesterdays trip to Swindon went well for me ( 4 pairs of shoes in Clarks) but not to well for MrOops( nothing) in my defence I thought that all the shoes on racks down the middle of the store were in the sale and expected the prices to be reduced at the till. Nope. That’s just how they display their shoes, ouch.
Mick when watching TV, put your legs up or lay on the sofa with your legs over the arms until you can get hold of the JR, you might need to go onto Diuretics, please don’t ignore this new symptom.
Have a good day everyone, safe travels to those on the move and a calm, peaceful day to us all.
