Ash, how utterly heartbreaking for that little family. There really arenโt any words for this sadness ๐ฏ๏ธ
Terrible relationship with DIL - am I the problem?
When is Amol Rajan leaving the Today programme please?
Good Morning Everyone,
Its twilight before we start to have another hot day here in brackley , normally its raining when the fair comes to town.
Mind think back last year sees the anniversary of the Queens Death will it be marked with something of an event?
Otherwise , taking it day by day as to health improvements .
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning from East Yorkshire. We have fog but it will burn back soon. At least so far itโs a bit cooler.
Happy birthday Monk and Jacs hope you enjoy your day.
Such tragic news Ash incomprehensible to how the family must feel.
Awaiting delivery of our new bed. DH is upstairs hoovering around and dismantling head board from our old one. The new one will be here within the hour on the latest tracking update. Then we will decamp to our lodge for the weekend. Canโt wait as it will be much cooler there.
So sorry Ash
Ashcombe so sorry to hear your news. As others have said there are no words but sending my condolences.
Happy Birthday to Jacs7too! ๐๐๐.
Ash Iโm shocked to hear this dreadful news. Just heartbreaking, sending condolences and prayers for her poor husband and daughter.
Good Morning everyone from Severnside.
Wishing you a Happy 70th Birthday monk ๐ธ๐๐
Wishing you a Happy Birthday Jacs ๐๐๐ธ
Very sad news Ash,
so very sad๐
Good morning from a sunny and pleasantly warm Angus coast. It must have been a cool night as I still can't see through the north facing windows because of the condensation on the outside. I thought I was waking up to a foggy day!
Ash there are no words ๐. Such unutterable tragedy.
Happy 70th Monk and enjoy your day - and the Stunning Seventies. Way to go til you reach the Achey Eighties ๐.
Yesterday's tai chi class was a good one, although I don't quite know why as I had had very little sleep the night before! The shopping wasn't quite so good - after a visit to the butcher and the fishmonger I drove straight past Tesco's without noticing! So that is still to be done.
This morning must be spent doing tai chi paperwork, and the plums are not going to pick themselves either. As I only seem to fully function in the mornings these days, I had better get a shift on.
Enjoy these last summery days of the year everyone and I hope the rays make the poorly feel better x
Such sadness, Ashcombe. Thinking of the little family and how life can change in an instant.๐๏ธ
Happy birthdays to Jacs and Monk !

Good morning Mick and all from Sunnyside northwest coast. I have been able to type Sunnyside for quite a bit now!
Ash Iโm so sorry, that is such a sad story๐๐ป
Im off to Specsavers this afternoon and will pick up some euros against my trip next week. Taxi for airport booked, but outfit wise, canโt decide. Salzburg will be warm, but looks a bit rainy and I also want something smartish for concerts etc. First world problems.
DD in Mykonos with friends, but chose the wrong week weather wise when itโs glorious hereโฆ
Hope your health is stabilising Mick and thoughts to all with worries.
Happy birthday Jacs7 enjoy your day and safe travels tomorrow ๐ท๐๐.
Happy Birthday Jacs7 ๐๐ฅ๐๐
Good morning all from Glasgow where the mist is now clearing and the sun is breaking through.
Oh, Ash such heartbreaking news, poor woman and her family. My heart goes out to the little 7yr old girl.
A close friend of DD1 also took her own life leaving behind a 4yr old daughter, 10 yrs ago. This little girl and GD2 are now close friends, both 14 and has a specialplace in DD1โs heart.
Happy Birthday Monk and many happy returns of the day. ๐ฅณ
A quick visit to our local pharmacy to collect a few scripts then itโs home again to faff about in the sunshine.
Have a pleasant day all. My thoughts are never far from those with sorrow, illness, difficult times to bare.
Bags ๐
Ash such sad news. My friendโs daughter took her own life during lockdown due to post natal depression leaving husband of one and a half years and six month old baby. No words are available to cover these situations.
Fish van today and some more shopping and cleaning before Dgds arrive for the weekend their parents are of to Krakow. They will eat us out of house and home and leave us exhausted with all the activities we have to take them to all separately and at different times of course!
Never mind we love them dearly. No A4 sheet of instructions now like we used to get when they first came as babies ๐คฃ. No bags of baby paraphernalia just hair and makeup products phones iPads sports kits, drama outfit etc etc. They themselves keep us right. Getting them up and out to two different schools on Monday morning will be challenging though.
Make the most of the sun everyone.
Good morning from Eden the sun has finally broken through after a day of Sarah sand and haze yesterday.
Sorry to hear the sad news Ash and birthday congratulations to all you young girls. We are still them inside if not on the out.
Problems with deliveraries today. DPD should have delivered yesterday and did not and have a contact number.
DH is cleaning his boots and pressing his kit for the three Rugby Union matches this weekend. Luckily I quite like it myself but not when it takes over the whole weekend. Does anyone else's husband turn into another person when RU is mentioned? My FIL gave permission for us to marry as I kept quiet when it was on T.V.
I hope everyone enjoys their weekend activities.
Good morning from cloudy Scarborough hoping the sun reps out shortly! Oh Ash my heart bleeds for your extended family - very sad, indeed!
Birthday greetings to Monk and Jacs. Have a great day!
Yesterday to my horror I realised I hadnโt brought all my meds with me, so what a palaver phoning my surgery, they electronically sent a prescription to the local pharmacist. Then I had to search Scarborough for OTC medication I take!! Eventually done! And walked down to the beach for a bit of sun and an ice cream
Have the best day possible folks
Good morning everyone from sunny Lancashire.
I am so terribly sorry to hear your sad news Ashcombe, my thoughts are with that sorrowing family
