Good morning all from a vloudy Glasgow. Where it is 13°C.
Grandmabatty, I always think your mum and my mum could have been twins. I was so sorry to read your post. 💐
Yesterday, as promised DH got my winter things down from the loft. My great plan was to do a cull before a charity pick up on Thursday, however I fell asleep again for a couple of hours. I'm worried that I'm deteriorating again, it's so frustrating!
Later on in the evening, I tried a few things on, but half of my clothes no longer fit, due to fluid retention, despite the meds. I resemble the whisky barrel in our garden!
DH tried to be kind, but like George Washington, he could not tell a lie. At least there will be space in my wardrobe 😉s at last.
On a much more positive note, to our absolute delight, we are looking after Dollie (yet another strike) and are taking her to see Babydoll and her parents. I shall probably fall asleep later on 🤣
I don't know who is more excited, Dollie or us.
Susan, I hope your day with your mum goes well and pleased to hear your sister has had her procedure, WWM.
Litterpicker, I laughed when I read your comment about me falling in the bramble bush. I had forgotten about that, but not the kindness of my two pals, who used to accompany me at a distance, on those sorties into the field behind my house, when I was sheilding. Friendship is a great treasure!
Enjoy your day folks, I need to gird my loins and get a move on!
As always my thoughts and prayers are with the poorlies and those with mountains to climb. Blossoming, I hope your spirits have lifted a little, life is so problematic for you.💐
Have you ever been to see a Spiritualist
