With my DCs Dad it was 'Eternal Flame' by The Bangles.
The flame went out, but we were pretty good friends after the initial heartbreak!
With my OH now it's 'Night In White Satin' by The Moody Blues.
I can't imagine us ever being in white satin but we do love the song!

Ours is a rather tongue in cheek one “I got you babe” by Sonny and Cher. Funnily enough it was one of the questions on University Challenge tonight.

I think ours was "Le métèque", by Georges Moustaki. I find it rather repellent these days. An old, ugly man lusting after a 20-year-old. Yuck.

I met my lovely husband when I was 14 and married at 18 and he was 20. Our song was Nat King Cole 'Too Young' - which everyone told us. We had nearly 60 years befote he died.

Nat King Cole singing “When I Fall in Love”. He was always singing and this was a favourite. I had it played at his funeral but a lovely version sung by the Morriston male voice choir.

There's a kind of hush all over the world by Herman's Hermits, that shows our age, 1967 it must have been.

Ours was Nights in White Satin - we danced to the Moody Blues live in the Student Union.

My OH had just got his first car so we did "have a drink, have a drive", often singing along to this on the car radio. My daddy wasn't rich, so we just did what we felt like, usually in the back seat....

We had 2! Little old wine drinker me Dean Martin - we sang together to the cd track every time whilst in our car driving through France and Spain and You Do Something to Me Brian Ferry. Played both at his funeral. Wept buckets throughout. I still well up listening to these.

You’re the inspiration by Chicago - second marriage. DH still sings it to me.
