Thnks Blossoming, still feeling grim, but nowhere as grim as I did!
There are videos on You Tube: "A walk around Rome". I'm getting my fix that way and reminiscing of healthier happy times.😉

Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark but dry here in brackley this morning.
Today < I am hoping to go and see ABBA Voyage at the ABBA arena in Olympic park for an afternoon matinee .
Yesterday , I was troubled with Diarrhea symptoms, making several toilet trips during the day .
I am hoping today I can hopefully have a normal day , I will take tablets prior to waiting for the coach , but if it starts I will return home having first told the driver .
Take Care,
Mick

I hope you’re feeling a bit better Marydoll. We also liked visiting Rome in September when it wasn’t so hot. I doubt we will ever do it again but I have wonderful memories.
Thank you Scalpal. I am sooooooo envious. Have a lovely time.
I haven just woken up from sleep in the conservatory, which unfortunately is hotter than *Puglia!
Italy at the end of September is lovely. We always spent a week in Rome at that time every year. I still get withdrawel symptoms.
Sorry you had such an awful day yesterday Marydoll hope it has been better today. Lovely architecture here in Lecce Puglia and a very pleasant 26degrees.
Oops, I can feel your disappointment. The same thing happened to me. We were going to Berlin for the weekend and on the Friday I needed steroids, antibiotics and a nebuliser. My GP said I was not fit to fly. I cried buckets.
I hope the steroids kick in soon. 💐
Lovely words Taichinan thank you. It is so important to remember never to give up hoping. 🦋.
Oh what a disappointment for you both Oops - I hope you feel better soon
Good morning all from Glasgow where it is currently dry with flashes of sunshine.
As flowering season is over I hope it stays dry enough to spend some time in the garden. The plan is to do some topiary tidying up. Not something I have down to perfection but not too shabby either.
Oh, Marydoll what a horrible day for you. I hope a better day is ahead for you today. 💐
Best wishes to all for a pleasant day and a smoother day for those with troubles and worries.
Good morning Mick and all from cloudy Lancashire where it is currently 17°C and raining
No real plans other than reading and trainspotting. Today is the second day of the Autumn steam gala at the railway museum.
Wishing everyone a peaceful Sunday 🌹
Marydoll I hope today is a better day.
Good morning it’s a sunny day so far.
We should have been going to the airport this evening for a week away but I had an Asthma ‘exacerbation’ yesterday (after changing beds, ironing and packing the suitcases) so Steroids for me and I’m on the sofa with arms and legs that feel like lead. Not much talking ( for a change) as it triggers my asthma cough and wheeze.
Poor MrOops was so looking forward to getting some late sun. Our friends will go without us.
I’ll come back and read other posts later.
But have a good day everybody.
Good morning all from a sunny autumnal Angus coast. White Rabbits!
Mick please do get medical advice about this ongoing problem of yours. It just isn't right. But 🤞 you get to your ABBA show - sounds a great day out.
What a great result from your allotment coffee morning Mizuna! And I'm glad your apple harvest was successful 😁.
Marydoll so sorry about your day yesterday and hope you feel better today.
I too am in awe of all you get through grandmattie!
COVID is very much back amongst us, isn't it. DS2 phoned on Friday evening and he sounded dire still, a week after going down with it. He thinks they picked it up on a visit to his Fil in hospital - you're wise to avoid it Marydoll.
Yesterday was a total non-event as I was so tired after Friday's exertions and excitement - the down side of the advancing years for me. Hopefully today my mojo will return.
DD gave me a lovely little book of poetry as part of my birthday present and I've been dipping in and out of it. It is Donna Ashworth's "Wild Hope" and I thoroughly recommend it.
For those of you going through the hardest of times, it has this for you:
🦋🦋 "^When it's all falling apart, when the only thing you have left is hope, you have all you need to go on^". 🦋🦋
Have a peaceful day everyone x
Yesterday, while DH and future SiL were laying a Karndean floor (can’t get a fitter till Christmas) I arranged to meet my 2 older children in Marlborough for lunch. A 25 minute journey took over an hour and I couldn’t find anywhere to park as there was a literary festival taking place at the college. Gave up and phoned DD1 and DS and arranged to meet them at a pub nearer our home. Wasn’t especially good but I did get to see them which was the main thing and they came back to our house as the floor was done quite quickly so wasn’t too chaotic. DD2 came over too. The cousins were able to play in the garden which was nice.
Have a good Sunday all. Lamb chops, mash and veg for dinner later.
Good morning from a sunny NE.
Lovely afternoon and evening with DS and GD2, she arrived in her school uniform after spending the morning at school open day.
She went to see Jesus Christ superstar on Friday night and she said it was spectacular, she really does love her musicals.
The next school production is Evita, she did audition but all parts went to drama scholars.
SIL is coming this afternoon, last time for the foreseeable as he is off home to Brussels. DD needs him there as she has an appointment with a consultant on Wednesday.
Thoughts are with poorly people and their carers.
Good morning everyone from a dull and very grey Northampton. At least it's dry ; I should go out and do some gardening this afternoon, but I just don't feel like it; shall stay in, watch some catch-up tv, and make a start on my new book club read. Or I may do a swap of my summer/winter clothes, which is really just a wardrobe change-over; the summer dresses/trousers go into the spare room wardrobe and vice-versa.
A mixed afternoon at the rugby yesterday; despite trailing by some 20 odd points after a miserable first half,. and fans feeling very despondent, the Saints had a fantastic second half, and came back to win by one point 43-42! Was also nice to catch up with DD and DS-in-law.
Lovely photo of the happy bride and groom, Llfl.
Oh dear Marydoll, hope you start to feel better today.
Happy White Rabbits Day to all.
Morning from S Lanarkshire, what rotten luck yesterday Marydoll, I hope today is much better.
I’ve been reading, but it’s difficult for me to post on my phone, fat fingers! My iPad is in hospital with a very dear friend who has taken ill unexpectedly.
It’s been a very busy weekend with both my youngest DGC which has included getting on the wrong train yesterday, jumping off at the next station and getting a taxi to the nearest point where we could pick up the right train! DGD congratulated granny on remaining calm!
Lovely picture Llfl, what a marvellous weekend.
Hope things work out for you today Mick, you’re having a difficult time.
Best wishes to everyone for a good day.
Hope today is much better maryd, x
I am so sorry your special day was ruined by illness Marydoll
I hope you can make up for it another time. Xx
Good morning from Durham.
Catching up with all your news, as I’ve been away and without a phone - very frustrating!
Got home at 3.45am, so I’d like a quiet day, but suspect Sis-in-L will want to go shopping - hope not. Need to catch up with both DGS and see how DD1’s FinL is, admitted to hospital after a fall last week.
Best wishes to all. X
Good morning from a sunny cold Co Armagh,
I’ve just been told it’s not cold !
Anyway it’s nice and bright
So sorry to see Mick is still having problems , talk to your hospital team please
Marydoll my heart goes out to you , hoping today is a better day flowers 💐
Marydoll, it's got to be a better day today, surely!
Good morning Mick and everyone from a grey Carlisle which dawned bright but is now threatening rain,
Good luck with your trip Mick, hope all goes well.
I had a quiet day yesterday and a good night's sleep with no coughing. I'm hoping my chest infection is on the way out though my joints still feel achy. The price of going on holiday!
Just gentle pottering today as I think it will be a busy week ahead. The pottering may include dealing with the piles of filing looking at me right now.
A beautiful photo LLFL, best wishes to them both.
The best possible day to you all.
Good morning all from a wet Glasgow, where it is 15°C.
What a beautiful couple, Litterpicker, it sounds a lovely wedding.
GM, I am in awe of your energy. It seems you have found a new friend in your neighbour.
Mick, I agree with Alygran, you really should seek help about your ongoing issues. My BIL had bowel cancer, kept taking Immodium and ended up losing part of his bowel. We got him to hospital just in time.
Well yesterday was a disastrous day. No different from my wedding day! 🤣
Not only was my heart playing up, my normally sky high BP plummetted and I fell. Also, I had a stomach bug into the bargain. I was literally crawling to the loo. DH kept asking if I should go to hospital, (he means well), but that was stressing me out. That was the last place I wanted to be, with Covid on the rise.
Eventually last night I managed a slice of toast, only to find my new filling had fallen out! 🤬
Consequently no takeaway, DH had to make his own dinner, no visits from Babydoll and no Dollie. 😪 DS sent me a photo of Babydoll trying her first solids. She demolished it and slept most of the night. Result!!!
DD and SIL came to visit, but I was totally unaware they were here!
Hopefully a better day today.
Nannyjan, I hope your symptoms are not too bad and you feel better soon.
Enjoy your day, whatever your plans.
Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 15° and damp.
Mum is just the same, not eating but drinking a little. I've been getting on with things. My best to you all
