Fifth!
Good Morning Friday 19th June 2026
How about some good news in the news?
Huge win for Andy Burham, Reform a distant second - where to now?
Transgender Dylan Mulvaney has won woman of the year 🤣🤣 you couldn’t make it up. Not one woman was worth the win. What do you think 🤔
Fifth!
I fourth that!👆
I third that !

Absolutely sickened by this. Dylan was born male in 1996. The New York Times reports she transitioned to female beginning March 2021 and has reportedly earned more than a million dollars from endorsements including fashion and cosmetics. She has 10 million followers on top tok. She grew up in a wealthy privileged family.
Her lived experience is nothing like that of other 26 year old women. S.he may well have faced emotional struggles due to her gender confusion. She didn’t grow up as a girl, she didn’t go through puberty or negotiate her way through school , into employment. Im insulted that she is given any woman of the year award. I’d have no problem with her being trans woman of the year but leave awards for AFH
I second that!!

I second that "that" 🖕 from Doodledog
Very noticeable is the fact that the activists when they are out in force with their placards, use the aggressive language and terminology of the misogynist when a woman has dared to defy him. As well as threats of rape and violence.
Sisterhood, my foot. "Be kind"... or else... more like.
When I recently wrote to Bucks WI with my concerns about transwomen being forced on us, they replied that they had to forward my email to National WI as anything to do with transwomen can only be dealt with by National. Just like Putin and his henchmen being in charge of ALL their propaganda.

What kind of a world would we be living in if everyone only concerned themselves with what impacts on them personally?
'The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing'.
Absolutely.
And in case the million times people have said this are not enough, it is not that we are anti-trans - we are anti the idea that being a woman is an option for anyone who wants to be one, and that womanhood comes down to the things that society has decided are gender-appropriate.
Women are still women whether we bake cakes, fix cars, wear dresses, climb trees, fight in wars, have babies, wear jeans, sleep with men, sleep with women, sleep with both at the same time, drink pints, are emotional, rational, keep house, run businesses, do both, or do all of the above. If we have female chromosomes and hormones we are women.
Men can also do any and all of the above and really really want to be women, but they aren't. They can be transwomen, and ask to be treated as though they are women (which is as close to the idea of 'living as a woman' I can imagine).
I say good luck to those who do that because they want to or feel compelled to, but not to those who want to invade and colonise women's lives, or who see being female as a safer option, or an easy way out. Maybe it is if you are bigger, stronger, earn more, have the testosterone that helps you to push yourself to the front in a patriarchal society and so on, but using those characteristics against members of the sex you claim to want to belong to is not 'sisterhood' in any sense of the word.

Well put Callistemon.
A lot of things may not impact us personally,- the activities of JS, the Hamas attack, the TRA violence against JKR, for example.
Does that mean we should be apathetic about things that do not impact us personally?
Quokka, do you mean we should just sit there and do nothing until it does impact us personally?
Dressing up to look like a woman, or a dragon, or a policeman, or a doctor is OK if it’s not part of a lie.
Dressing up to be a woman in a mental health ward or a female domestic refuge where traumatised women are affected is part of the same lie as a man winning a competition as a woman.

Once again natal women are being erased.
I’m not erased. Are you? Does this honestly impinge on your day to day life?
Does it matter if something doesn't impact on us personally?
We can still know the difference between right and wrong, have views on subjects which may not impinge on our everyday lives and want to let our voices be heard on many subjects.
Why should women be silenced?
Galaxy
Domestic violence doesn't impinge on my every day life, prostitution doesn't impinge on my every day life, they are still things I hold views on.
Hear, hear.
What is being ignored is that we are being conditioned to accept the narrative that TWAW - and it's jolly well working isn't it?
We are being habituated to believe that a man with a penis can be a woman on the basis of him saying so. Worse, we are being discouraged from questioning this belief - because that is what it is - a belief. Look at the cancelling and no-platforming of those who've spoken against this belief.
Women's whole experience of womanhood; biology and science are being summarily dismissed as transphobic by arrogant men who don clothes and make-up to present their idea of what a woman is. In short, they are defining womanhood to women.
So yes - we jolly well do have a view on it.
Domestic violence doesn't impinge on my every day life, prostitution doesn't impinge on my every day life, they are still things I hold views on.

It would.
But common sense flew out of the window a while ago, along with the biology textbooks.

That would make sense wouldn't it JaneJudge.
It would make sense and be honest as well.
That would make sense wouldn't it JaneJudge.
As a LGBQT+ award surely dylan should have won transwoman of the year and there should have been a separate category for lesbian of the year? and so on
BlueBelle
But he’s not a she violetsky Dylan Mulvaney has a penis, he has had facial surgery to make him look more feminine but hes still got his tackle
He’s a male
So yes I m sure he is very happy
Some people support liars, in particular male liars. Others believe any lying is wrong.
I don’t think you can choose which lies are acceptable, but there are always those who do choose.
VS, Is the new excuse for accepting lying calling it logical?
I agree Dickens it's quite obvious what our concerns are based on.

All will become clear if you read the thread, MG55
I don't think there's any genuine lack of understanding about why we're 'concerned'
.

Too much prejudice in the world
Oh yes, the prejudice against women who just want single sex spaces, to be able to have same sex intimate care when they are vulnerable, not to have men cheating them at sports or out of women's awards, scholarships etc ........yep hard to bear, but women fight on against the prejudicial bullies.
Agree with who?
Absolutely agree with you. Not sure why so many people are getting so concerned about Trans men / women. Live and let live. Too much prejudice in the world 🏳️⚧️🏳️⚧️🏳️⚧️🏳️⚧️
