Good morning from a dark and very wet Black Country.

Meeting with friend yesterday cancelled due to flooding around her house. So decided to visit Mum on the bus. As I arrived I realised I didn't have my house keys. Panicking that I left them in the door, I rang my friend who luckily was in and she went round and retrieved them from the door, phew! How I did that I cannot imagine. Panic over and Mum and I went for lunch. Two Fish n chips £11.00 cannot beat that.

Popped into said friends on way home to collect keys and had an hour with her. MrJ still in Bristol until later today or tomorrow morning.

No real plans today, possibly gym and housework.

I am lucky I suppose apart from sore arms, never really had a reaction to Covid and Flu jabs.

My Niece is 32 today, hard to imagine how that time has flown. She is a lovely girl.

Wishing you all the best day possible.

Morning Mick, morning All. Dark and damp sums up our corner of Somerset.

Decent day yesterday. Enjoyed volunteering and caught up with our elder granddaughter in the afternoon before a garden centre wander which involved cake.

Hoping for a walk this morning and a much needed admin catch up this afternoon. Blink and the admin hill turns into a mountain.

Neither of us had the hint of an adverse reaction to our covid jabs grandmattie. Hope the same for you.

Thinking especially of everyone with health and other worries. Hope Saturday is gentle with us all.

Good morning, I don’t know what the weather’s like as I haven’t looked outside yet.
We’re on the west Wales coast for two weeks, back in my favourite spot.
A very long, wet drive yesterday, there was an awful accident that closed the M4 then murky low cloud and heavy rain from Rhayader onwards that made it very atmospheric and mysterious all through the valleys.
We had our double jabs Wednesday grandMattie without any side effects apart from a slightly sore arm (both in the same arm for me) and a bit of a headache so I hope you’re lucky too.
A long beach walk planned for today, we’ve got all the right gear so I’m looking forward to that.
Take care everyone 🌹

Good morning from Bristol. Not looked out but it rained in the night. Today won’t top 12C, which is fairly chilly. I’ve put my night storage heater on, on the lowest temperature possible. (We are too old and gaga to be allowed gas!)
Yesterday was quiet, Spanish then potter.
Today there is the church coffee and chat, and a Covid jab.,I just hope that I don’t feel too unwell again. I’m not holding my breath as there have been so many reports of bad side effects with this new jab.
Nearing the end of square-making for quilt #2; just assembly and finishing.
May today bring joy and/or relief to those with health and emotional mountains to climb, especially to Urms, dustyand Marydoll. Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩
