No, everyone is definitely C, D or lower list celebrities at best: a first division footballer after the war, he featured on cigarette cards, a member of the English Women's cricket team in the early years of the century before women's cricket began to get publicity.

DS makes sporadic appearances on tv every year in fairly high profile programmes.

I have a former chancellor of the exchequer in the family tree from Victorian times.

Very distantly related (many times removed, however that works - I'm too thick to understand it) to the Bonham-Carters.

DH's father must have been friendly with one of the Bonham Carters, I have a postcard somewhere sent to him by one of them in ths 1930s, (can't remember which one) saying, thanks for letting me know that I left my raincoat behind, will collect it next time 😃

My daughter married to a cousin of very famous footballer ….that’s why her wedding was on a Friday as he had a premiership match against United on the Saturday ….and he was best -man. The cousins were brought up together and went to same school. Then he was at my son in law’s mother funeral as coffin bearer . Very , very nice man….the only problem was wedding was besieged by gawpers trying to get autographs and selfies….. what is the matter with people ??!! ….but we’d thought to hire ‘protectors’ so he could enjoy the day and NOT spoil the wedding!

Had a cousin who was a well known world War 11 hero. Also, brother who was a footballer, played for National team.

My SIL and therefore two of my GC have a relative who is a pop star and another who was a very famous film star.
