Good morning from soggy South Lanarkshire.

Yesterday DH took the daft dug out for a short walk for the first time in about eight weeks, a sure sign that he is getting stronger. I’m very grateful.

No plans for today other than a light lunch at our favourite local cafe after I’ve been to Mass if DH feels up to it. It is under new management as from this week although all the staff have been retained. I’m really hoping that the lovely atmosphere which was generated by the previous owner won’t change.

Wishing everyone the best day possible.

Morning Mick, morning All. Our corner of Somerset is forecast a mostly dry day, lots of puddles out there though

Not a fan of the return of early darkness I find my body does prefer this clock change to that in the Spring, although my usual Autumn lack of enthusiasm has hit. I find it a sad time of year. Will stir myself for a short walk this morning and perhaps sort some paper before returning to my book.

Thinking of everyone finding life hard going. Hope Sunday is kind to us all.

Good morning from a wet Cornwall where I see that yesterday the council removed the summer bunting from outside my flat and have strung Christmas lights from tree to tree, awaiting the November switch-on. Lovely. A quiet day of sewing before church at 4o'clock.

Good morning Michael , the rain thundering down wakened me ! So much for an extra hour of sleep
I hope the Fibre diet helps you 🤞
I’ve been up for an hour , the rain has eased , I’m sipping Red Bush tea , think I’ll pop back to bed
