You have £100 and must spend it on yourself, what would you buy?

I already get my hair done every 6 weeks, I have plenty of clothes and jewellery, and enough electronic equipment.

Whatever would I spend it on?

In the good old days I would probably buy a Record Album or 2, film for my camera, a couple of good books a new pair of shoes…….

Over to you, you can’t put it towards household expenses or food.

Oh Gundy that sounds perfect. I would do that too! There is nothing nicer than sharing it with someone.

I like your optimism!

I can think of loads of things. Put towards a dental check up, I'm long overdue. A nice coat, as I'm currently going without.

Gangan2 Sat 04-Nov-23 21:24:30

Either a nice coat or some Elemis skin care .

Gangan2 Sat 04-Nov-23 21:26:14

But truth be told I'd probably share it with my daughter on a lovely restaurant or afternoon tea !

Well done Kathmaggie I considered going for Cardiff tickets and booking a hotel but it is difficult because I am in Sheffield and I go to gigs with my DD who is single parent to an autistic son who wouldn't like to stay anywhere overnight except with her or me. So all the venues named so far are a little far away. We are keeping our fingers crossed for some more venues to be announced nearer to home.

We saw him last year and he was brilliant. Hope you have a great time.

A piece of artwork. A painting, sculpture or ceramic. And flowers, lots of expensive flowers😍

Callistemon21 Sat 04-Nov-23 22:26:16

I was thinking I have enough stuff but another JoLoMo limited edition print, perhaps.

JaneJudge

i have my eye on a second hand dressing table on FB marketplace but it's £120 and I have £95 to spend.....this is a real life dilemma

Make them an offer . If it’s been there a while they may accept it.,

Philippa111 Sat 04-Nov-23 22:54:48

I fancy one of those tang drums but can’t justify it. This would pay for one.

Shoes or Boots! I'm a wide fitting size 2 - so these are not easy to find!

rocketstop Sun 05-Nov-23 09:22:46

I would go to the seaside for a very nice day out, go in a really nice place for lunch, return home in the evening with a taxi home from the station. Mind you, maybe not in November !!

Poppyjo Sun 05-Nov-23 12:52:00

I would treat myself to a hair colour and cut and a head massage. Sounds wonderful

Jzpap Sun 05-Nov-23 13:18:47

I would spend it on going to The Golden Retriever Experience in Somerset. They’d be money left over so I’d put it towards taking a friend or family member with me. I’ve always wanted to go and have dropped so many hints to my husband but they fall on deaf ears.

Jaxjacky Sun 05-Nov-23 13:24:12

I’d spend £50 on Christmas raffle tickets for our local hospice and £50 to get my car cleaned twice, once now and once in the Spring.

Grandma70s Sun 05-Nov-23 13:31:05

A good seat for opera or ballet.

keepcalmandcavachon Sun 05-Nov-23 14:03:27

Jzpap, Ooh never heard of The Golden Retiever Expirience but is sounds very fluffy and cuddlygrin

Notagranyet1234 Sun 05-Nov-23 14:48:14

Soft leather boots! If I could get any to fit my legs

Claralou Sun 05-Nov-23 15:11:20

My £100 would go on cut and colour at the hairdressers thats about what it would cost , i have tried home highlights but as i have dark, salt and pepper hair i can never get it looking like when i leave the salon , i must admit im leaving it longer and longer between appointment s nowadays

CBBL - I feel your pain, I am a very wide 3 and used to buy Ecco boots but they stopped doing size 3 - WHY . Have to look at some children’s boot. Would put the money towards some handmade boots 😀
