Keeping glasses clean 👓

I've ordered an anti fog cloth - sounds brilliant and I will also get and ultrasonic bath (I think a few people will get one for Christmas too).

I use a cotton t-shirt or cotton boxer shorts when it comes out of the washing machine, still nicely damp.

I worked at the Eye Hospital for 24 years, expected to have my cataract surgery done by someone I knew, refused to go to Optegra , wanted it done at the Eye Hospital, my surgery was done by a learner think it was her first day, and wrong lens put in, when I went for my second eye, asked that a consultant do the op, he was very nice , but said he could only even up my eyes or I’d be falling over! So got to wear glasses forever! So annoyed!

Cyclone what rotten luck. You'd really expect better service from the place you actually worked. I was very happy wearing glasses. It was only because I had cataracts and my eyesight was so bad that I had the ops. I did find the world much brighter after that though. More blue light making it through a clear lens. I hope you had at least that benefit.

My optician told me to clean my varifocals only with soap and warm water and to dry them with toilet paper.
